𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 an alternative class conducted by USA - Team Dugong Bughaw in collaboration with JPPhA - Epsilon Chapter - Apothecarian Council, last February 27.

This alternative class aimed to educate the Augustinian community about the diversity of gender spectrum. This initiative also represents a proactive measure in fostering gender inclusivity and accepting various forms of gender expression within the community.

Philippine Professional Association for Transgender Health, in partnership with Team Dugong Bughaw, is calling on our LGBTQIA++ siblings to share their lived experiences that revolve around the theme “𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘋𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴”.

2. A total of 18 poems will be chosen to be part of the literary folio: 6 from Luzon, 6 from Visayas, and 6 from Mindanao. Poem submissions may be in English, Filipino, or any of the Philippine regional languages.
3. Poem submissions must not exceed 20 lines.
4. Poem submissions in regional languages must be accompanied by a translation.
5. Three (3) essays will be chosen for the literary folio: one (1) from Luzon, one (1) from Visayas, and one (1) from Mindanao. Essay submissions must specifically encapsulate the LGBTQIA++ experience of the specific island group the writer is writing about.
6. Essay submissions must either be in English or Filipino and must not exceed 800 words.
7. Submissions must be original works and must not be under any copyright restrictions.
