Sa kabila ng hamon ng bagyong Enteng, matagumpay nating nairaos ang makulay at masiglang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2024! Muli, kami po ay taus-pusong nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng tumulong at nakiisa sa selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Wika 2024, kung saan ang mga mag-aaral mula Kinder hanggang Grade 10 ay nagpamalas ng kanilang talento sa sining, pag-awit, pagsayaw, at tagisan ng talino.

Isang malaking pasasalamat sa ating mga magulang at tagapag-alaga, sa ating mga mag-aaral, sa masisipag na Maintenance Staff, Admins, mga g**o, at siyempre, sa pamunuan ng La Trinidad Academy. Espesyal na pasasalamat din para sa ating Pre-school at Primary na mga g**o na walang sawang nagbigay ng suporta.

Today, Ninoy Aquino Day, the country commemorates the death of late senator Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino Jr. and what this meant for the entire nation.

Sa halip na matakot, lalo tayong tumapang.

With Ninoy’s death, we began to realize how we are all bound together—even more so in times of oppression, suffering, and crisis.

Ninoy believed in a better future for Filipinos even when it was not easy. This is a sentiment that we all hold— that things should be better, and things can get better. Our strength as a nation emanates from our collective resolve to do what we can to move towards this better horizon.

Sa pangunguna ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino, ipagdiwang natin ang tema ng '𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨: 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚', na binibigyang-diin ang ating wika bilang instrumento ng kalayaan.

Ating ipakita ang pagmamahal sa ating kultura at kasaysayan sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang aktibidad tulad ng Poster Making, Paligsahan sa Pag-awit, Tagisan ng Talino, at Interpretatibong Pagsayaw para sa Intermediate at Junior High School.

Ang Preschool at Primary ay magkakaroon din ng kani-kanilang selebrasyon sa loob ng kanilang mga silid-aralan, at ang mga detalye ay ibibigay ng kanilang mga g**o.

Magsuot ng ating tradisyunal na kasuotan—Filipiniana o Baro't Saya para sa kababaihan at Barong Tagalog para sa kalalakihan—at magpakasaya sa Pagkaing Pinoy!

Your health matters!

Stay informed and protected against MPOX! 🩺

According to the Department of Health, a new case of mpox (formerly monkeypox) has been recorded in the country.

The DOH said it received information on a newly recorded mpox case on August 18—the first this year—raising the overall number of logged cases nationwide to 10. The country’s last recorded mpox case was in December 2023. All previous mpox patients recovered.
