The Municipality of Isabela headed by our Municipal Mayor Hon. Irene C. Montilla, and Municipal Health Officer Dr. Ma. Rama R. Espinosa, commited to the reproductive health and family planning program, we believe that vasectomy can be a safe and effective option for individuals who have completed their desired number of children or do not wish to have any more children in the future.

Vasectomy is a simple and minimally invasive procedure that offers a permanent form of birth control for men. It is a highly effective method with a low risk of complications, and it does not affect sexual function or sensation.

We are inviting all willing men in this coming activity
"FREE NO SCALPEL VASECTOMY" on DECEMBER 7,2023 at

Dr. Ma. Rama R. Espinosa Municipal Health Officer of Isabela together with Her team of medical Professionals Conducted a symposium to parents, students, faculty and staff of Isabela National High school regarding the several problems of the youth and adolescents in Isabela which includes :

1. Mental health issues: Adolescents in the town not only in our town but also the whole of Philippines may struggle with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and stress due to factors such as academic pressure, family problems, and social challenges.

2. Substance abuse: Drug and alcohol abuse among adolescents is a significant problem in the Philippines, leading to negative health outcomes and potential long-term consequences.

3. Sexual and reproductive health: Many adolescents in the Philippines lack access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health education and services, leading to high rates of teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.

4. Poverty and inequality: Adolescents from low-income families may face challenges accessing healthcare, education, and other resources, impacting their overall health and well-being.

5. Education and employment opportunities: Many Filipino adolescents face barriers to accessing quality education and employment opportunities, which can impact their future prospects and overall well-being.

6. Violence and exploitation: Adolescents in the Philippines may be at risk of experiencing violence, exploitation, and abuse, including child labor and trafficking.

Addressing these problems requires a multi-faceted approach involving government, communities, healthcare providers, educators, and parents. By working together to provide support, resources, education, and advocacy for adolescents, it is possible to tackle these issues and promote the health and development of youth in our town.

More over doctora discussed the very
crucial role of PARENT's in supporting the health and development of adolescents. Some important roles of parents in tackling the problems of youth include:

1. Providing a supportive and nurturing environment: Parents can create a supportive and nurturing home environment that promotes the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of their adolescent children.

2. Open communication: Parents can foster open and honest communication with their adolescents, creating a safe space for them to discuss their concerns, challenges, and questions about their health and well-being.

3. Setting a positive example: Parents can role model healthy behaviors, such as eating nutritious foods, engaging in regular physical activity, managing stress, and seeking help when needed. Adolescents often learn by observing the behaviors of their parents.

4. Educating and guiding: Parents can educate their adolescents about important health topics, such as sexual and reproductive health, substance abuse prevention, mental health awareness, and healthy lifestyle choices. They can also provide guidance and support in making informed decisions.

5. Advocating for resources and support: Parents can advocate for access to healthcare, mental health support, and community resources that can benefit their adolescents' well-being.

6. Supporting at-risk populations: Parents can provide additional support and resources to adolescents who may be at risk due to factors such as poverty, discrimination, or other challenges.

Lastly doctora added that parents play a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of adolescents. By being actively involved in their children's lives and providing guidance, support, and resources, parents can help tackle the problems that youth may face and promote their overall health and development.
