Sometimes, we are trapped by the world to do more, to be more, and to have more.

But Jesus warns us not to “store up for ourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal…” “For what good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?”

Therefore, we are reminded today to have this ONE THING as our sole purpose in life: To know Jesus as our only Savior and King.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 - 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 = 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴
𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 + 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 = 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

No words can describe how much we appreciate all the things that you do for us. You have prayed for us, you supported us, and you made many sacrifices.

Above all, you have shown us what it means to love God and what it means to commit our lives in service of Him. Thus, on this Mother's Day, we honor and praise God for your life.

"Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord, your labor is not in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:58

We, the SCOF family, are immensely grateful for the privilege of hosting the Circuit Youth Fellowship. It was truly a blessing to see over 80 young people gather in faith and fellowship last friday. To God be the glory!

Last April 14, 2024 we celebrated 30 years of God’s faithfulness to our church, Southern Cathedral of Faith with a theme: “A heart that loves the church.”

Praise God for the obedience of 16 individuals who boldly proclaimed their faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through water baptism. We commit to journey with you and pray for you as you begin your walk in Christ.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another —and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25

To God be all the glory!

After Jesus stayed in Samaria for two days, he left for Galilee. When He visited Cana, the town where he turned water into wine, he met an official whose son lay sick at Capernaum.

When Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that He was gaining and baptizing more disciples than John, He left Judea and went back once more to Galilee. On His way back, He had to go through Samaria.

What is in Samaria that it seemed that Jesus was compelled to visit the place?
