BSU welcomes the speakers, participants and presenters of the ISSAAS National Scientific Congress 2024. The congress will bring together ​change agents and future shapers for the Agriculture Aquatic and ​Natural Resources (AANR) sector. The conference will have four plenary ​topics anchored on the subthemes: Showcasing cutting edge science ​and technology and innovations in AANR; Agroecology strategies for ​climate resilience and sustainable AANR; Post-production innovations, ​nutrition and food science; and Socio-economics, policy and culture.

ASEAN 57th Anniversary
Benguet State University joins the nation in celebrating the 57th anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) this August. ASEAN, founded in 1967, is a regional organization comprising ten Southeast Asian countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. BSU has long been committed to ASEAN cooperation. The university has actively participated in various ASEAN initiatives, including academic exchanges, research collaborations, and community engagement programs. Through these efforts, the University has contributed to strengthening regional ties and promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in Southeast Asia. As ASEAN celebrates its 57th anniversary, BSU reaffirms its commitment to the organization's goals and objectives.

August 9, 2024 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗕𝗦𝗨 𝗕𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘆, 𝗙𝗣𝗖 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 A group of students, and faculty and staff members from Romblon State University (RSU) made an educational tour to the Benguet State University (BSU) Bakery and Food Processing Center to gain insights on the projects’ operations. The group from RSU observed the production of BSU’s baked goods and explored the university’s food processing center. Next, they visited the BSU Medical Clinic to learn about the university’s process in hiring physicians.
