Heat stroke is no joke, stay cool and stay woke! We celebrate National Heat Stroke Day by increasing awareness of Heat stroke by identifying the risks and first aids when heat stroke occurs.

Heat Exhaustion

Ang heat exhaustion ay ang lubhang pagkapagod dulot ng mainit na temperatura. Maaari itong mangyari kapag nagtagal sa init, at hindi sapat ang pag-inom ng malinis na tubig. Ito ay maaaring magdulot ng dehydration.

Mga Sintomas: pagod, panghihina, sakit sa ulo, pagduduwal, pagkakuba

Heat Stroke

Ang heat stroke ay ang pinaka malubhang uri ng sakit na may kaugnayan sa init. Hindi nakakayanan ng katawan na palamigin ang sarili, at ito’y napupunta sa mapanganib na init ng katawan. Ito ay isang emergency na nangangailangan ng agarang atensyong medikal.

Mga Sintomas: pagkawala ng malay, pagkalito, atake sa puso.
