Air pollution is now a problem. So many pollution diseases such as asthma, pneumonia, cough, heart disease and stroke.
One way to reduce pollution is taking care of plants (house plants). These plants still have benefits to our health:
1. Plants provide oxygen and remove carbon dioxide around. This is opposite to the person who needs oxygen and releases carbon dioxide.
2. According to a NASA evaluation, house plants remove toxins in our environment. These are the VOCs or volatile organic compounds from paint, coating and refrigerators. Carbon monoxide will also be reduced from car.
3. We can avoid flu and cough. According to University of Agriculture study in Norway, house plants care lessen fatigue, cough, colds and sore throats by 30 %. This is due to dust removal.
4. The house plants are naturally humidifier. It increases humidity (or water) in the air because plants root absorbs water and evaporates from leaves. When the humidity is high, we won't be hit by infections.
5. If you have a pet house plants, you will be happier and more positive in life.
6. Review finds that employees work better in the office when they see a plant around.
7. Your sleep will be better and sound.
8. The plant inside and outside our house is what we will fight for in the heat of the weather and global warming. The temperature under the tree is less than 1 degree compared to other areas.
9. To make your house plants more effective, choose the large house plants that are 6 to 8 inches wide. Bamboo plants are very good because it gives 10 double amounts of oxygen compared to other plants.

Just remember plant water should be replaced every week. This is for not having a kiti-kiti that can cause dengue. But in total, taking care of the plant inside the house has a benefit. Give this a try
