"You must be ready to burn yourself in your own flame; how could you rise anew if you have not first become ashes?" stated one of the great thinkers of the 19th century. This is the spirit that binds us all here, we are all burning part of ourselves: pains, frustrations, failures, suffering, sadness, loneliness, heartaches, everything that weigh us down that could slow down our journey. We are burning a dark past but retaining the lightness of memories that we wanted to help us transform dreams and renew visions.

Liyab has been a tradition of unity, shared dreams of a better future, and a sense of community that journeys together in joys and pains, laughter and tears as we walk through the labyrinth of college life. It would not be easy. There will be difficulties. There will be failures. But behind every struggle there is always a story of hope. Let the flames of LIYAB ignite our hopes as it ignited the hopes of students who have been here, who have walked in this campus, and eventually found their voices and their destiny as aerospacers, making a difference in the community and in society.

Liyab has also been a tradition of healing, of facing a new kind of future that excites us, a future that made us dream of becoming the best version of ourselves, as we turn crisis into opportunities, and as we face our vulnerabilities, we come to learn the sound of these flames calling us to shed off parts of ourselves that do not belong to who we really are. We are not our fears. We are not our failures. We are not our pains. We are what we love and what we yearn for. And that is what we need to nourish by friendship, by learning, and by promising to ourselves to never give up.

Let me close these words of inspiration by sharing to you a wonderful story written by a Jewish writer, a conversation between Jacob and Mr. Gold.

“Jacob, where do you find the strength to carry on in life?”

“Life is often heavy only because we attempt to carry it,” said Jacob. “But I do find a strength in the ashes.”

“In the ashes?” asked Mr. Gold.

“Yes,” said Jacob, with a confirmation that seemed to have traveled a great distance.

“You see, Mr. Gold, each of us is alone. Each of us is in the great darkness of our ignorance. And, each of us is on a journey.

At Indiana Aerospace University, we maintain a commitment to excellence and proper grooming through our dress code. All students—returners, new, and incoming—should adhere to the prescribed uniform guidelines:

•𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨, proudly wear your uniforms complete with departmental epaulettes and accessories to showcase your specialization in Aviation.

•𝙒𝙚𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 are designated as Wash Days, requiring students to wear their department’s polo. Organizational polos with approved designs are also allowed.

•𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 are given a 4-week period to wear casual attire before transitioning to the official uniform.

Indiana Aerospace University offers an 𝘼𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 course with a 3-day cabin crew training program! This program not only reduces On-the-Job Training (OJT) hours by 100 but also provides critical training on safety, emergency protocols, and essential cabin crew responsibilities. 🛫🔧

Students leave with practical skills and knowledge, ready to excel in their aviation careers. Ready to take flight? 🛩️💼

Meanwhile, travelers may move for any purpose, including business or study, and can even be day-trippers not staying overnight.

Did you know that a CanSat is a scaled-down model of a satellite, fitting all the critical components into the size of a soft drink can? 🚀 Its goal is to carry out scientific experiments and land safely, showcasing the genius of aerospace engineering.
