We've also bid farewell to fully plastic takeaway containers, cutlery, and straws, replacing them with sustainable alternatives.

Our passionate colleagues are driving change too! Beach cleans and litter picks are regular activities at our hotels to keep plastics out of local ecosystems and protect our seafronts. For example, the Shangri-La Bosphorusin Istanbul collected plastic bottle caps and exchanged them for funds to purchase wheelchairs for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
