The LPSci Math Club invites you to kickstart 2024 right and participate in five exhilarating activities that will surely get you pumped up! What could be these activities, you ask? 🤔
The LPSci Math Club will be hosting the Rubik's Cube Challenge, Integer Race, and Sudoku Challenge on January 15, the Group Trivia Quiz Bee on January 16, and the Math Quiz Bee on January 17. Make sure to save these dates! ⏰
We're sure that many of you are eager to participate in these activities, so stay tuned into our official page and watch out tomorrow for posts about the mechanics of this school year's Math Month activities! 👀

Mobile Legends Tournament
Students Category
Mechanics / Rules and Regulations
1. The tournament is open and exclusive to all LpSci students enrolled in the 2022-2023 school year.
2. Each team must have 5 main players and 1 reserve player (optional).
3. Members per team should be composed of students from LpSci regardless of grade level and section as long as they are enrolled for this school year.
4. Only the team leader must register to this link: https://forms.gle/WZWyu8yGLarXpxKs9
This will open today (January 16, 2023) at 4pm.
5. Only the first 16 teams to register will be accommodated and will proceed to orientation.
6. All the team leaders will be gathered in a group chat prepared by the Math Club officers who are in charge of this event.
7. Only the registered names and players will be the ones to play during the tournament and any detected unregistered players will cause the TEAM DISQUALIFICATION.
8. Internet connection of the players is not the organizers responsibility.
9. The team who will be 10 minutes late during the tournament will be automatically disqualified.
10. Each team will be given 1 time game-pause and will automatically resume after 5 minutes.
11. Any form of cheating such as droning, Map hacking or using of VPN will not be tolerated and using of such will automatically disqualify the team from the match.
12. Foul language, offensive and disruptive behavior of players will not be tolerated and may lead to disqualification of player/team from the tournament.
13. The game will commence on January 18, 2023, after classes (2:30pm - 4:30pm)
14. The championship game is Best of 3 and will be on January 19, 2023.
15. The deadline for the registration will be on January 17, 2023 at exactly 12 noon.
16. Decisions made by the tournament organizers are final and irrevocable.
17. Any disobedience to the mechanics, rules, and regulations will not be tolerated.

Here is another Good news to selected MTG Centers! the MTG Philippines and PBOSF will be given free slots of the ONLINE EDITION of the 2022 International Kangaroo Math contest (IKMC)to all PUBLIC SCHOOLS students in the country with an EXCLUSIVE SCHEDULE CONTEST DATE on March 26, 2022.
Please identify or select some deserving public schools in your area or you may inform the division school supervisor to nominate the participants from the public school to participate the said international mathematics correspondence contest. Attached is a sample letter to be given to the principal of the school about the invitation for the free slots.
The breakdown of the participants will be fifty (100) slots per district per grade level from grades 1 to 12.The deadline for the submission of entries is on or before March 24, 2022 with the following details on the excel file:
1. Complete Name, school and grade level
2. Individual Email address of the student using the gmail account
Failure to submit the list on time, the FREE slots will be given to other division in the country.

The MTG Philippines is inviting the TOP 25% of students from the public schools to take the ONLINE EDITION of the 2022 International Mathematics Assessment for Schools (IMAS) FOR FREE which will be held on January 29, 2022.
As the MTG Center coordinator in your area, you are given free hand to identify and select the public schools in your jurisdiction and inform the principal or math coordinator to recommend the top 25% of the students in their school who are interested to join in the online version of IMAS for FREE.
