anyway, this Gekko was one of the projects i finished last year. and since i havent crocheted in a while, might as well post some of my previous projects 😅

waaaaahhhhhh cant believe it’s been 3 years since i restarted my crochet journey! and i know this wont end sooner bc i feel like i am just getting started 🤩

i definitely saw my growth as an artist for the past 3 years. and i know that my 2021 me would be so proud of who i am today 🥹

i didnt have time to do my own photoshoot. these photos were actually from my graduate shoot back in February. good thing i wore my own creation! but you have noooo idea how i stressed i was when planning for my creative shot. i even made a last minute outfit change bc i was just so unsatisfied 😭

i only made a few multiple flower bouquets this year but these are absolutely stunning! can u also recognize the first two photos? yes! they’re a slight upgraded version of the Claire bouquet that i made last year! 🌷

i do regret not taking a proper shot of the roses on the last photo 🥲 but i swear, they look better irl. i can also definitely say that roses were my most favorite ones to make 🌹

these arent even all the single bouquets that i made! it was suuuuper tiring but still worth it in the end. also created a pink Peony flower for the first time. didnt realize it would take a lot of time to make 😪

compared to the last 2 years, i think i’ve mastered the art of wrapping a bouquet 🤔 i am now faster and less angry than before lol

finally invested in actual wrapping papers and i can say it’s really worth it! it made the flowers more appealing. i almost did not want to give this after i was done arranging and wrapping the flowers bc i was just soooo satisfied w the end result😍❤️

fun fact: claire bouquet is named after my friend who received the flowers. while the
sunny bouquet…. just reminded me of the sun lol.

ever since we had our full face to face classes last august, i did not have enough free time to crochet bc i got busy w requirements and all (also bc my schedule was from monday to saturday. YES, it was vvvvv draining and i will never choose a 6-day schedule ever again 🥲) but thankfully, i still did not run out of commissions and clients 😭 thank you so much for your patience and trust ❤️ (these arent even all the projects i did for the year!!)

my hiatus made me realize that i’ve come a long way from where i started. i am so thankful that i achieved so much in 2022 with my crochet business even though i was inconsistent. especially my Crochet Butterfly Top that was worn by ms jane on ASAP last May 😭 the kilig is still here ❤️✨
