We all have that moment when we don't know what to do or how to start our tasks. Today, I am out of ideas. A year ago, I was skeptical on getting an Insurance and HMO. I thought I was perfectly healthy and nothing would happen. I often eat fruits and vegetables and my friends know how sporty I am. But then 1 week after receiving my first 13th month pay, I got hospitalized because of food poisoning. No one expected it, even I didn't expect it. The most painful part about it --- I had to use a big part of my 13th month pay to pay for medical expenses, food, medicines, and COVID-PCR test before I can be cleared to get back to work.

Found out that a friend of mine is earning much more than I earn even if she haven't graduated yet. For a while, I felt envious and bitter. "Lord, bat parang napag-iiwanan na ako?" But then, I realized that we both went through rough times and after all she's been through, she definitely deserves what she has right now.

It made me realize that it's easy to think how "lucky" a successful person is - especially when we see them happy in social media. But behind every success are countless rejections and disappointments that cannot be captured by the camera lenses nor uploaded in the platform. It's easy for us to say "sana ol" and "buti ka pa" pero nakita ba natin yung mga panahong pilit nilang "kinakaya"?

As we clap for other people's wins, let us also appreciate and celebrate our small wins. Let's trust the Lord and gracefully wait for our season to bloom🌸🌹

When is the best time to get an insurance?
I told my client, the best time is yesterday and the next best time is TODAY. She asked, "Why today?"

Who do you want to be when you grow up?

Sabi ng student ko, "Teacher, I want to be vet, but I also want to be a ballerina, and also a teacher and a businesswoman".
Sagot ko naman, "Darling, you can be everything you want to be." (Mema lang talaga yun, dami kasi gusto😆)
Napaisip ako sa sagot nya, "But teacher, you just have to choose one."

Oo nga pala. In reality naman talaga, mas normal sa society kapag nakafocus lang sa isang career..kapag magaling ka sa isang bagay. Specialty kumbaga. When we were kids, we were taught that we can be anybody we want to be. But as we grow into adults, we all acquire that pressure to be "somebody".

Pero paano kung wala kang specialty? Magiging "nobody" ka nalang ba? Paano kung di mo pa nahahanap kung saan ka talaga magaling? Ibig sabihin ba nun may sakit ka? na tamad ka o walang matapos? na wala ka nang silbi?

As a young adult, I found myself exploring various fields para madiscover ang purpose ko and kung saan ako mag-eexcel. So sige si ate ghorl, try neto, try niyan (Dora The Explorer tayo eh😆) Pero at the end of the day, I don't really excel at any field and I always find myself attracted to another field. In short, mabilis nabobored and palipat-lipat ng gustong gawin. Siguro naiisip nung iba, "Ano na naman kaya pinaggagawa neto?" Even I would question myself, " Ano ba talaga gusto ko?" Feel ko nga may behavioral disorder ako eh..feel ko there's something wrong with me.
Until....

Then, I realized na normal lang pala.
Okay lang pala na wala kang talent or specialty; na di ka sobrang galing sa isa.
Okay lang pala na di mo pa nahahanap kung san ka magaling.
