"Operations Review"

On May 12, 2022 at about 9:30 AM personnel of AVSEU 5 led by PLTCOL RONEL A REFAMA, OIC, AVSEU 5 attended Operations Review via zoom. Activity was presided by PCOL ALIGRE L MARTINEZ, DDA, AVSEGROUP together with the AVSEGROUP TWG and APSMU Focal Persons. It was physically attended by the Key Personnel of this Unit, BIAPS, Station Chief, and GenAv PNCOIC while Division Chiefs, Panelist from AVSEGROUP, observers from AVSEU 1-13, BAR, Special Units, and other Station Chiefs/PNCOICs virtually attended the activity. Month of March 2022 was reviewed through the presentation of operational dashboard and matrix presented by PLTCOL RONEL A REFAMA, OIC, AVSEU 5. The purpose of said activity was to make progress and to align from the measures set by higher headquarters anchored for future endeavors.

Afterwards, comments and recommendations from the panelist were all taken to be applied and make necessary adjustments on this Unit’s dashboard and matrix. The activity adjourned with the Guidance of DDA, AVSEGROUP and a closing prayer delivered by PSSg Nholmar Vista.

In line with PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2021, at about 9:30 AM August 13, 2021, this Unit has facilitated and initiated the conduct of regular Advisory Council meeting of AVSEU 5 held at Heroes Lounge, Legazpi Airport, Legazpi City.

The meeting was presided by PCOL ISAGANI A FETIZANAN, Chief, AVSEU 5 with the renewal of oath of six (6) Council members and the oath-taking of three (3) new members via Zoom from Naga, Masbate and Virac APS.

MS. ANNIE MARIE N. JAUCIAN, General Manager, Daraga Water District was elected as the Council Chairperson, and DR. RICO M. GELIT was elected as the new Vice-Chairperson.

Mrs. Cynthia M. Tumanut, CAAP Area Center 5 Area Manager, were physically present together with Mr. Mike Desuyo, CAAP CSI Supervisor. Other members were present virtually via Zoom including the new members from outlying airport stations.

These are the following Agenda discussed during the meeting:
a. Awarding of Certificate of Appreciation to the four (4) AAC members for the end of their term;
b. Oath-taking Ceremony;
c. Approval of the Minutes and actionable items from the previous AAC meeting;
d. Legazpi APS Presentation of "A CUP from A COP"; and
e. Other matters.
Activity has ended fruitfully at about 11:30 AM of same date.

In line with PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2021, at about 2:00 PM February 24, 2021, this Unit has facilitated and initiated the conduct of regular Advisory Council meeting of AVSEU 5 held at Heroes Lounge, Legazpi Airport, Legazpi City.

The meeting was presided by MS ANNIE MARIE N. JAUCIAN, GM Daraga Water District/ AAC Chairperson, with MRS CYNTHIA M. TUMANUT, Area Manager, CAAP Area Center 5/ AAC Vice-Chairperson and other AAC active members.

These are the following Agenda discussed during the meeting:
a. Recap of the previous AAC meeting and Approval of the Minutes;
b. AVSEU 5 Plans and Programs for CY 2021;
c. Formulation of MOA and Resolutions for 2021;
d. Approval of Memorandum of Agreement re Usage of Bicol Gold Cuppers Inc. Firing Range situated at Brgy. Padang, Legazpi City, Resolution re Advisory Council Support on Plans and Programs of Activities of AVSEU 5 for CY 2021 and Resolution re Request to HQs re Deployment of RN PNP Personnel at AVSEU 5 to support its proposed Best Practice;
e. Update on the Tenure of Advisory Council members;
f. Updates on the Implementation of proposed Best Practice dubbed as Health Watch Desk at Naga APS presented by PLTCOL RONEL A REFAMA, Deputy Chief, AVSEU 5;
g. AVSEU 5 Recent Accomplishments presented by PCOL ISAGANI A FETIZANAN, Chief, AVSEU 5; and
h. Other matters.

Activity has ended fruitfully at about 4:00 PM of same date.

In line with PNP P.A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030, please be informed that on January 25, 2021 at about 9:00AM, Hon. Harold L Bembenuto, AVSEU 5 Advisory Council Member performed as the Range Officer on the Firing Proficiency of this Unit which is being held every first and last Monday of the month for the development of skills and capability of our personnel in handling their issued fi****ms which is included in the second perspective of our Charter Statement, the Learning and Growth. Also, through the best effort of Hon. Bembenuto, this Unit was able to utilize the firing range of Bicol Global Cuppers, Inc. situated at Brgy. Padang, Legazpi City headed by Mr. Peter U Palanca, President.

In line with PNP P.A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030, please be informed that at about 9:30 AM of January 25, 2021, Hon. Harold L Bembenuto, AVSEU 5 Advisory Council Member with his benevolent support to this Unit donated a Photocopier Machine and supply of bond papers which will be utilized for lecture and test modules of about 280 students at Padang Elementary School.

Said donations were turned-over by PCOL ISAGANI A FETIZANAN, Chief, AVSEU 5 with Hon. Bembenuto and was acknowledged by Ms. Marites F Abiño, School Principal with the PTA Officers and other Teachers of the said school. Relatively, this is in cognizance of the strengthened partnership of the PNP with its stakeholders brought about by the establishment of Advisory Councils at all levels of the agency.
