The Opening Ceremony of MCA LB's Foundation Week was an unforgettable event that kicked off with fervor and enthusiasm on Monday morning. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as the ceremony commenced with a solemn Opening Prayer 🙏, followed by the stirring rendition of our National Anthem 🎶, marking the official start of the week-long celebration.

Ptr. Lorna Colico, our esteemed School Administrator, delivered the Welcome Remarks, setting the tone for a week filled with camaraderie and celebration. Ptr. Jim Colico's Exhortation inspired all present, delving into the theme of our Foundation Week, "Empowered by Love, Guided by Faith, Inspired by Hope," based on 1 Corinthians 13:13.

Vince Chavez, a junior high school student, led the symbolic Torch Lighting ceremony 🔥, igniting the spirit of competition and unity among us all. Harry Chavez led us in the Oath of Sportsmanship, emphasizing our commitment to fair play and respect. Our distinguished panel of Judges 🏅 was introduced, ready to oversee the week's competitions and events.

The parade of Muse and Escorts showcased the heart and soul of our school's vibrant community, filling the air with color and excitement. However, the highlight of the event was the electrifying Mass Demo 💥, where our four teams competed, showcasing their talents and skills in a friendly yet spirited competition. 🟡🔵🔴🟢

The Opening Ceremony established the perfect atmosphere for a week brimming with excitement, camaraderie, and friendly competition, leaving an unforgettable impression on all attendees. 🎉 Let the festivities begin! 🌟

🔥🚒 We're thrilled to share that MCA LB recently joined the BFP Open House Tour 2024 at the Los Baños Fire Station! Our students actively engaged in fire prevention activities like fire drills, using fire extinguishers, and learning about fire safety and basic EMS.

In addition to these, they also received vital information about creating fire escape plans and identifying potential fire hazards at home. It's all part of our commitment to safety, especially during Fire Prevention Month this March.

Huge thanks to the brave men and women in uniform, especially FS Insp Benjie Laca, the municipal Fire Marshall, for their invaluable guidance and support! Let's keep the flame of safety burning bright and ensure that every member of our community is well-prepared to handle emergencies! 🔥👩‍🚒👨‍🚒

🚌📖Education By Recreation from MCA Los Baños. 🏫🚌

A full day of fun learning experience that every students are eagerly waiting for has finally arrived. As early as four in the morning, students assembled at the MCA-LB campus for their Educational Field Trip, dubbed “Education By Recreation”.

Their first stop was at Zoori, at Residence Inn in Tagaytay. The zoo has wide range of animals under their care, from birds🐦🦃, snakes🐍, to wild animals like tiger🐯 and lioness🦁. Students were given opportunity to interact with the animals, like a chance to ride on ponies🐎 or holding a python🐍 for a photoshoot. Some had fun riding on ziplines.

The next stop is the Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite. Students toured inside the house of the General Emilio Aguinaldo and the birthplace of the modern Philippine republic. Coincidentally, two days earlier was the death anniversary of the first Philippine President. As they toured around, the students not only saw personal artifacts related to the former President, but also learned various significance and symbolisms and discovered secrets around the house that shaped the Philippine history.

Next, the tour stopped by at the SM Mall of Asia for a lunch break🍴, and for an opportunity to stroll around the mall for one hour.

The tour capped with a visit to Star City in Pasay 🎢🎡🎠⭐. Students, parents, and staffs alike had their fun and memorable bonding experience with one another as they take on various rides and visited various attractions in the amusement park.

It was a long day indeed. Though tired, everyone was happy with this full day of fun, learning, and the friendship that flourished in this unforgettable day.

Today, 🎉 we joyously extend our heartfelt greetings to our esteemed pioneer and founder of the Maranatha Chiristian Academy School System, Evangelist and Presbyter, Dr. Leticia Ferriol. 🌟

Throughout the years, her ministry has not only been a source of inspiration but also a testament to unwavering dedication to God's work. Whenever she stands before the pulpit, her words ignite our faith and propel us toward offering the highest praise to our God. She is truly a remarkable motivator! 💪
