Wittily themed “What waste?!” - we want to highlight the need to shift perspectives and change the conversation to waste as a resource - following the developments on RA 11898 or the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) on Plastic Packaging. It will also feature EMB-CALABARZON’s Sustainable Fashion Competition, entitled: Green Couture where outfits from reclaimed, reused or recycled materials will be showcased by participating artists from the Region.

Today, April 22 is 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝐃𝐀𝐘 with the theme "𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙩 𝙫𝙨. 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨"!

This day calls for action to reduce plastic use and protect our environment from its harmful impacts. Earth Day serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility towards sustainability.

We can contribute in several ways:

♻𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲: Minimize the use of single-use plastics in our daily lives.
♻𝗥𝗲𝘂𝘀𝗲: Opt for reusable items like bags, bottles, and containers.
♻𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲: Properly recycle plastic products to prevent them from ending up in landfills.
📗𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲: Spread awareness about the impact of plastics on the environment.
🚮𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲: Join local clean-up efforts to remove plastics from nature.
🤝𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: Advocate for policies that limit plastic production and promote sustainable alternatives.
