Oro, Plata, Mata — a tragedy turned to gold.

"Oro, Plata, Mata" is a Spanish word which is translated as "Gold, Silver, Death." It is an ominous belief that the last step on a ladder must not fall into death hence a tragedy happens—just like how DHVSU, rose from the tragic Pinatubo eruption, Honorians took a step forward seeing the silver linings—thus making the ashes a golden heritage as precious as their culture.

Honorians, tomorrow is D-day. Watch as they represent and bring the culture of our university in the upcoming CAASUC III Regional Culture and Arts Festival 2023 tomorrow at 5PM, at the Pampanga State Agricultural University.

A Beautiful Disaster

As an ambassadress of culture and the art—to look back in the lens of the past is a must. The Pinatubo eruption before may have turned skies into black, but Honorians rose from the ashes—screaming maroon and gold.

A Groundbreaking History

An ambassador treasures the roots that makes culture and arts sprout. This is a homage to the founder of Escuela De Artes Y Officios (now DHVSU) Fr. Juan P. Zita. Established in the year 1861 DHVSU remains to be the oldest vocational school in far East Asia—a groundbreaking history.
