JMAR HERBS, INC., in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross- Quezon Lucena Chapter, Rotary Club of Lucena South Official, Rotaract Club of Lucena South, Rotary Club of Lucena Circle Inc., have once again partnered in their efforts to serve more patients in hospitals throughout our province in a blood donation activity themed "Celebrate Giving: Thank You, Blood Donors!"
The activity aims to help solve the depleting blood supply in the hospitals, it is likewise campaigned for personal health benefits of donors those who regularly donate blood, according to recent studies have a lower risk for heart disease.
It also highlights the importance of giving blood or plasma regularly to create a safe and sustainable supply of blood and blood products that can be readily accessible, all over the world, so that all patients in need can receive timely treatment.
The activity was held at JMAR HERBS, INC. Kalayaan St. Phase 8, Brgy Kanlurang Mayao, Lucena City last July 07, 2024.

This yearโs Pasayahan sa Lucena float competition theme centered around the Philippines' well-known festivals. In line with this, JMAR HERBS, INC. presented a float bursting with the vibrant spirit of Cebuโs grandest religious, cultural, and secular celebration: the Sinulog Festival, now marking its 459th year of joyous festivities.
The Sinulog Festival is an annual cultural and religious festival held in Central Visayas. It is one of the most famous and widely celebrated festivals in the country. Named after the Cebuano word "sulog," meaning "like water current" or "flow," the festival symbolizes the dynamic forward movement of people's faith.
Rooted in religious tradition, the Sinulog commemorates the pivotal moment of Christianity's arrival in the Philippines, a testament to the enduring spirit of faith and unity.
The float transports us back to the historic voyage of the Spanish/Portuguese Galleon Ship in 1521. Legend has it that Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan gifted a statue of the Santo Niรฑo to Rajah Humabon's wife, Hara Amihan (later known as Queen Juana), marking the dawn of Christianity in the archipelago.
Like the kaleidoscope of culture and merriment of the Pasayahan Festival, the Sinulog Festival is a dazzling showcase of Cebuano creativity and hospitality. Visitors from different regions along with the locals flock in Cebu City to witness the celebration, street parties, and other festivities that extend for several days.
JMAR HERBS INC.'s Sinulog Festival-themed float sailed to victory as it was held Champion in the recently concluded Pasayahan sa Lucena Festival 2024.
