Please be informed of the following guidelines for cemetery visits:
𝟏. 𝐍𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐯𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬
Only those coming to pay respects to loved ones are permitted entry. Removing items such as flowers, gifts, or personal belongings from gravesites is strictly prohibited to maintain respect for offerings left by visitors.
𝟐. 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝
All types of gambling activities, including card games or betting, are strictly prohibited within the cemetery grounds.
𝟑. 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐨𝐫 𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝
Playing loud music or singing karaoke can disrupt those who are mourning or praying.

Staying overnight in the cemetery is prohibited to ensure safety and security. The cemetery is closed outside designated visiting hours.

The Municipality of Lupon has been recognized as one of the outstanding local government units (LGUs) demonstrating exemplary performance in implementing programs, projects, and activities aligned with peace and order, as well as anti-illegal drug initiatives for the year 2023.
The prestigious award was conferred during the 2024 Peace and Order Council (POC) and Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Award Ceremony in Davao Region, held last October 25, 2024, at the Apo View Hotel, Davao City. The award was received by none other than Benjamin Pesetas Jr., the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council Officer.
Lupon shared the stage with other awarded LGUs, including Mati City, the Municipality of Manay, the Municipality of Caraga, the Municipality of Cateel, the Municipality of San Isidro, the Municipality of Banaybanay, the Municipality of Tarragona, and the Municipality of Governor Generoso.
This recognition highlights the dedication of these LGUs in advancing the goals of peace, security, and drug-free communities within the province.
