𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | 𝟱 𝗖𝗛𝗧𝗠 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺, 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁'𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

Five students from the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) brought pride in the name of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) after clinching the gold medal in the Research Infographic Poster Presentation at this year’s Youth for Tourism and Hospitality (Y4TH) International Conference last November 11, held at the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) Film Institute.

Under the supervision of their teacher-coach, Nathan Philip N. Paras, the team of diligent researchers consisting of Melanie D. Casimero, Mary Ann B. Balatbat, Jenina Marie P. Bagang, Carlos James Aquino, and Jericho A. Basilio were hailed as champions after showcasing their expertise in the said competition.

In an interview with The Industrialist, Melanie D. Casimero, the leader of the triumphant team, mentioned that despite the busyness in their academics as graduating students, the team managed to exert all their skills and efforts to create their winning piece.

Additionally, the team leader expressed how the group was truly honored to represent the university.

“Hindi lang kaming RIPP Team ang masaya, but the whole CHTM and of course, our University. One of the best and proud moments of being Honorians!” Casimero exclaimed.

Staying true to the college's tagline, "CHTMpions," the event was enjoined by the CHTM Dean, Kathleen Joyce M. Coronel, TM Program Chair, Santa L. Merle, MSHTM, and HM Program Chair Mike Haizon M. David.
