Avoid these common networking mistakes:

1. No plan in mind. Better to go network with a plan! Eg. I'm going to meet another person who grows dahlias and learn their method of dividing tubers.
2. Fixed mindset (vs. growth mindset).
Examples:
• I already know that vs. what new thing can I learn?
• I don’t have time for that vs. how can I prioritize and make time for what’s important.
• That won’t work for me vs. what would I need to do to make that work for me?
3. Thinking you don't need help or already know how to do everything. Actually, remember that you don’t know what you don’t know!
