We need savings, investments and protection for health and life. ๐
They say Singaporean parents teach their children how to use and manage money as early as 5 or 6 years old. The training starts during the kid's younger years, educating them and training them about financial matters. More so as well as during the earning years of their children (adult life), influencing them to have more protection and build more savings while still earning.
And Singapore economy is okay, with employers and investors expanding, progressing and thriving in providing jobs and opportunities.
So it's not true, that when employees are exposed to financial education, when Financial Literacy is pushed in the workplace, the gesture will negatively affect the business of their employers.
In fact, studies show that a financially educated workforce, creates a more productive and positive environment at work.
When the employee have a sense of financial maturity and personal responsibility, to save, to invest and get protection - they can create a vision of prosperity and abundance and they carry that vision at work, among peers, and in the family, influencing each other on the good financial habits and practices.
Financial Literacy in the workplace is a win-win deal for both the employees and employers.

4 very important money skills:
1. Making it (Entrepreneurship)
2. Keeping it (Saving and Budgeting)
3. Multiplying and preserving it (Investing)
4. Giving it (Generosity)
Entrepreneurship will give you a cash cow. Saving and Budgeting will protect you from spending everything so you don't end up broke. Investing, will take your cashflow to the next level and will give you passive income for life. Generosity allows what you have to make a lasting impact to the world around you.
You need all 4 skills in your life to make your finances go and grow to the next level.

If you can't die as a HERO, at least live like a HERO.
If you can't do BIG, at least do a small good deed.

Working towards a goal? Take time to celebrate each monthly win.
The most important step to help you achieve whatever goal you set, is to take the time (at least once a month) to give yourself a huge pat on the back for making progress. Donโt worry about the big end goal. It may take many months, or years, to reach an end goal. The way to get there is to remind yourself how your decisions each month, or each week, are moving you closer to that goal.

Warning Long Post sana basahin mo hanggang dulo..
When I joined IMG, I didn't have full understanding of everything.
In fact, 2 words lang ang nag make sense sa akin, kaya aku sumali sa community.
First word, utang.
Poor mindset: yes to utang, no to savings.
Rich mindset: yes to savings, no to utang.
Poor mindset: Dami utang, konti/wala savings.
Rich mindset: Dami savings, konti/wala utang."
Eh ikaw, Kaibigan,
You can change your life by changing the way you think about money.
Financial education is the first step.

Repost from Sir Jess Faller.
1. Utang - takot ako dyan kaya noon pala kapag may balance kami sa credit card ay di na ako mapakali, sobrang thankful lang ako sa parents ko dahil naturuan kami na kapag nagcharge ka sa card mo you have to pay it in full on or before due date kaya never kami na nabaon sa credit card debts.

Old age is certain.
Costly medical expense is certain.
Passing away is certain.
But only God knows what can happen to us or when these things can happen.
So Paghandaan natin ang lahat.
It's wise to prepare for all future certainties and uncertainties.
Ecclesiastes 11:2: Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.
A wise saying also says "a part of your income is yours to keep."
It means to save part of your income.
Save for what?
1. Future health expenses (healthcare)
2. Life insurance (death)
3. Final expenses (burial)
4. Emergencies & Debt Payments
5. Future Projects (house, car, travel)
6. Retirement Fund (old age pension)
7. Child Education (college funds)
8. Give back (Donate, Charity)

Patapos na ang kalahating taon (JUNE 2023), how's your finances?
Keep on tracking your finances
It should be YOU, doing this... Not others, but you need a GUIDE.
That's what IMG can do for you ๐
Minsan akala natin alam na natin, pero we end up still may utang, walang ipon...

One of the most neglected aspects of financial planning is LONGTERM HEALTHCARE.
Pwede magstart for as low as P88 to P147 per day.
At ang maganda sa longterm healthcare, kung hindi mo magagamit, hindi masasayang kasi good as cash upon maturity. Pwede mo gamitin kung saan mo man gusto gamitin.

P7200 in 1 yr.
P72,000 in 10 yrs.
P144,000 in 20 yrs.
Pero kung ininvest sa mutual funds ang bente-bente sa loob ng 20 yrs, pwedeng umabot ng more or less P600,000.
Ano nga ba ang mutual funds? Isa itong legit at pangmasang investment.
At pwede nga bang pabente-bente lang? Pwedeng-pwede.
