We’ve just concluded an enlightening 3-day lecture, "Why is My Patient Still Bleeding?" led by the distinguished Dr. Klaus Goerlinger. With over 50 healthcare professionals in attendance involved in acute care diagnosis, the event offered valuable insights and solutions to complex bleeding issues, thanks to the collaboration of National Children's Hospital, St. Luke's Medical Center - Global City, and The Medical City - Ortigas.

The highlight of the event took place at Seda Hotel Vertis North, showcasing detailed sessions including "The Temogram Explained" by Mr. Dane Louie Cabreros, RMT, ASCPi, MBA, and "User Experience in ROTEM" by Dr. Alejandro Arevalo. Additionally, Dr. Goerlinger led case discussions to illustrate the ROTEM-Guided Bleeding Management Approach.

February 2, 2024 marked a milestone at Mango Suites Hotel, Santiago City, Isabela, where we delved into the intricacies of setting up a basic clinical microbiology laboratory and revolutionizing patient care with advancements like oral vit. K monitoring, 8-differential counting on fully automated hematology analyzers, ionized calcium measurement recommendations, automated urine sediment analysis and laboratory information systems. Here's to a future of enhanced diagnostics and better outcomes!

Another successful Medical Mission done by Scientific Biotech Specialties, Inc. (SBSI) at San Beda University - Manila last December 1, 2023!
