Madam Rowena Sanchez, the esteemed founder of Brilliant International Academy, holds dual degrees in English and Computer Science from The National Teachers College. As an Entering Freshman Scholar and consistent Dean's Lister, she also served as president of The Student Teacher's Association, reflecting her dedication and leadership early in her academic journey.

Madam Sanchez earned her Master's Degree in Computer Science from DE LA SALLE University Manila in 1999 as a DOST Scholar and further obtained a Master's Degree in Education, specializing in School Leadership, from the same institution. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate Degree, underlining her lifelong commitment to academic excellence.

Her contributions to research and development have been recognized with numerous National Library Citations, and she has published several books. With over 30 years of expertise in the Information Technology industry, she has served as a CTO, showcasing her profound impact on the field. Notably, she developed the Acumen Government Solutions suite, which includes Usap, Ugnayan, Aurora GIS, EagleEye, Trail, Archive, Enterprise, Estate, Digipay, Barangay, Smart, and Digital Country Government Systems. These innovations have significantly enhanced the automation and streamlining of national and local government systems for safety and security since 2005.

Madam Sanchez's inspiration to pursue a career in education was fueled by her mentors at her alma mater, including Dr. Priscilla Y. Arguelles, Mr. Arguelles, Dr. Leonisa Del Rosario, and Dr. Evangeline Mallillin
