Replaced two old porcelain fused to metal crowns with an all porcelain eMax crowns for a more natural looking smile. Patient's old crown with metal inside were also causing her gums to darken over the years making her concious of her smile. To stop this, no metal crowns were placed.

Another buzzer be**er cosmetic case we finished by last month's end.😅

Mrs Josie Counts had been treated by a lot of dentists from US🇺🇲 and UK🇬🇧. Her concern this time was:

Another transformation to start the month! Yey! 🤩🎉

Patient was referred to our clinic for consultation on work done by her previous dentist. She arrived with badly broken teeth and failed root canals. After examining her, our main concern was to save her remaining teeth first by doing THE BASICS (Routine oral prophylaxis✅, teeth fillings✅ and extraction of unrestorable teeth✅).

We then proceeded with the re-do of her root canals, then finally making her fixed restorations (crowns and bridge).🦷

Patient chose as material of choice for her restorations. Case was a combination of zirconia veneers and zirconia bridge with pink porcelain gums.🦷

Patient concern was her uneven looking smile caused by an old bridge done by her previous dentist. Shade was a bit yellowish compared to her natural teeth. She also had retainers with an artificial tooth attached to it in order to replace or hide a missing tooth. She does not want to wear the retainers anymore and was looking for a more permanent and esthetic/ natural-looking solution. What made her case more challenging was that she also had a big bone defect due to a root fragment on her upper jaw. 😳

After studying her case, we decided to make her a combination of a 4-unit zirconia bridge with pink porcelain to replace her missing teeth and also to compensate for her bone defect, and two units of zirconia veneers on the other side to even out her smile making them more natural looking. We also removed the root fragment that was left behind.👩🏻‍⚕️

We retained her old bridge as we saw that they were still functional and does not need to be replaced yet. What we did to manage the yellowish shade was we chose a lighter shade for the new bridge and veneers, the shade she wanted. When the time comes to replace her old bridge, we will be making them in the same shade as her new restorations. 🙂

We used modern technology in fabricating her bridge and veneers like intraoral scanning, CAD/CAM (computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing), and 3D printing to give the utmost quality to our patients.

Patient couldn't be happier with the result! We too were pleased with the outcome! Another successful smile transformation! 🥳👏

Upper Ivocap full denture and lower Ivocap semi-full denture with flexible clasps for my patient.

Patient is a woman in her 80s. She complained of loose and ill-fitting dentures by her previous dentist. They tried fixing it by relining both the upper and lower dentures but unfortunately patient still had the same problems after the reline they did.🙁 She decided to use the wrongly fit denture anyway, since she did not have choice anymore and no spare denture to wear. She wore the dentures for a few years until she decided to have new ones made.

Upon examination, we saw that her bone have greatly shrunk due to her age and the years she was wearing dentures already. Also, she had a wandering bite as well due to compensating to her loosely fit dentures. In spite of her age, she maintains a very active life. She loves to eat and have conversations with other people. She complained that her wrong dentures were really giving her a difficult time to enjoy these things that she do. Her case was going to be a challenge.👩🏻‍⚕️

We decided to fabricate a full Ivocap denture and a lower semi full Ivocap denture with flexible clasps on her remaining natural teeth for added retention. Ivocap makes use of premium materials and state of art technology in denture processing to make exact, and good fitting dentures.

Results were excellent.❤️ Patient is happy with the fit. She can talk without being afraid that her dentures will fall. She said she is looking forward to eating her favorite almond nuts. She can now eat, talk and smile better than ever!

A front tooth previously root canaled fractured and was saved by restoring it with a dental crown.

All porcelain (E.Max brand) material was chosen as it does not contain any metal. Metal in crowns may cause darkening of the gum line over time and may give a metallic taste as it ages. All porcelain will not have that problem.

Porcelain also has the most tooth like appearance mimicking real teeth. Very superior esthetic quality.

Happy to finish another successful transformation on my patient, Warna. 😊

Patient always wanted to have a beautiful smile. She was considering getting veneers to make her teeth look bigger and longer. During consultation, we noticed that she had a gummy and uneven smile. Her teeth also looked small as a third of it were covered by her thick gums. To correct these imperfections, we suggested gum contouring/gum reshaping. Glad our patient obliged. After 2 weeks, her gums are now more symmetrical, her gum lines are even and her teeth now bigger.😁✅
