IN MAKATI, DEVELOPING A ROBUST DISASTER MANAGEMENT TEAM IS A COMMITMENT!

The Makati DRRM Office, in partnership with the Office of Civil Defense-National Capital Region, provided advanced incident management training to the city's key personnel. This initiative has resulted in 29 individuals graduating from the Incident Command System Position Course held from August 19-23, 2024.

Participants gained in-depth knowledge of incident coordination, resource management, and strategic decision-making, along with enhanced communication and leadership abilities. This comprehensive training underscores our city’s unwavering commitment to strengthening incident management capabilities, ensuring we are better prepared to effectively and efficiently respond to emergencies.

At present, there are over 600 ICS-trained city and barangay officials and personnel in Makati which the office is continuously striving to increase. This is because protecting our Makatizens and the community is a top priority.
