Last September 21, 2024, Abakadang Kayumanggi Community Development Foundation (AKCDF) hold its parents and teachers assembly. Congratulations to the newly elected PTA officers of Abakadang Kayumanggi Learning Center.

Abakadang Kayumanggi Learning Center Parents and Teachers Association are active partners of AKCDF in the Every Child Is My Child mission of upholding children's rights and peace.

Ayon sa 11pm weather advisory ng PAG-ASA, kasalukuyang nakataas ang yellow rainfall warning sa Metro Manila dulot ng bagyong Enteng. Kasabay nito ay ang high tide na aabot sa 1.70m.

Manatiling nakaantabay sa mahahalagang impormasyon o anunsiyo ukol sa panahon. Maging alerto anumang oras at mag-ingat para sa kaligtasan ng lahat.

Abakadang Kayumanggi Community Development Foundation's Every Child is God's Child Spirit continues to bind children together in love, peace and care for one another. Thankful for the joyful time given to my grandchildren Amika and Keito to do an outreach with ABAKADA Children Bible Study Group. They played, distributed food, stuff toys and goodies, and met new friends.

WALANG PASOK | Kaugnay ng pagkasira ng Dampalit Tide Control Gate Structure sa Kaylanan Creek, Doña Juana Flood Gate sa Brgy. Dampalit at inaasahang pagtaas ng tide level na aabot pa rin sa 1.90 metro ay inirekomenda ng Malabon Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office ang pagsuspinde ng face to face classes sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Lungsod ng Malabon sa lahat ng antas bukas, Agosto 20, 2024. Maaari naman magpatupad ng asynchronous o online class ang mga nasabing apektadong paaralan.

Sa kabila nito, patuloy naman ang isinasagawang repair sa Tanza Navigational Gate na inaasahang matatapos sa Sabado, Agosto 24, 2024. Ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Malabon ay nakikipag-ugnayan na rin sa MMDA at DPWH tungkol sa kinakailangang repair sa mga nasirang flood control structures sa Barangay Dampalit.

Pinaaalalahanan ang lahat na mag-ingat at manatiling ligtas mula sa anumang panganib.

Abakadang Kayumanggi Community Development Foundation is an NGO established in 1988 to provide education and daily school-based feeding to children of low income workers, poor families and for all children living in Bo. Potrero, Bagong Barrio, Morning Breeze in the cities of Malabon and Caloocan.

Rotaract Club of Malabon Highlands, Rotary Club of Malabon Highlands, National City United Church, NCUC - ABAKADA Bible Study Group Community Women Volunteers, AKAY Women Community Kitchen, Abakadang Kayumanggi Community Development Foundation and friends worked together to do a relief mission, benefitting children and families whose homes were destroyed and affected by flood due to Typhoon Carina.

Rice, used clothing, meal packs, cooked food for feeding of children and families, living in East Riverside , Tullahan River, Bo. Potrero were distributed.

School supplies for children like notebooks, bags and school shoes are also needed by public school children living in the said informal settler's community.

May the Lord God's loving and generous heart bind us stronger in helping those in need. Donations in kinds or in check from the heart for the God's Children Love and Compassion Relief Mission being coordinated by Abakadang Kayumanggi Community Development Foundation are very much welcome. Thankful to National City United Church who gave rice to 40 community children and 9 adult members of Abakadang Kayumanggi Bible Study Group. May we all continue to grow in faith, in words and in deeds and learn to live lovingly, mercifully, justly and walk humbly with God, for sustainable peace, freedom from poverty and respect for the integrity of creation.

Thankful to the God sent NSTP University Student Volunteers from Dela Salle University Manila who gave art lessons and urban gardening education to children and computer lessons to teachers and community mothers at Abakadang Kayumanggi Community Development Foundation last June 1 and June 15, 2024.

Last June 7 and 8, 2024, Abakadang Kayumanggi Community Development Foundation celebrated its 36th Moving- Up and Recognition Day Ceremony with 23 Nursery Children completers and 46 Kindergarten children completers for School Year 2023-2024.

Music and painting is truly a very effective medium of joyful children's learning about the importance of responsible earthkeeping for life.

This activity is part of AKCDF's ALIBATA (Artistang LIngkod ng mga BATA) Music and Painting Program for the advancement of musicians and painters advocacies supporting various projects and programs promoting children's rights and people's welfare for justice, peace, freedom from poverty and respect for life and the integrity of creation.

Saturday Bible Study for community adults and children in partnership with National City United Church is part of Abakadang Kayumanggi Community Development Foundation's (AKCDF) mission. It aims to share God's words for the formation of children , and communities to learn the Christian way of life and values based on love, respect for life and the integrity of creation to build a just, peaceful and humane life. The Bible study promotes ecumenism in faith. People of various faith and religion are welcome to attend the Bible Study.

Adult members of the Bible Study group become an every child is my child shepherds of God's children. They pray, study and eat together to celebrate God's love and their love for one another.

AKCDF through the Bible Study activity is able to know the needs of community children and their families through the weekly sharing. Presently, it provides community children studying in public schools, educational supplies and feeding through the help of mission partners.

In response to the need for livelihood to enable poor families to support the continuing education of their children to overcome poverty, AKCDF needs mission partners for its cooking and sewing skills for life training for the creation of home- based livelihood benefitting Bible Study adult members and parents of its underserved children beneficiaries and its continuing Abakadang Kayumanggi Learning Center childhood education and daily school-based feeding program.

May the good God, the creator of life and nature strengthen people's cooperation for freedom from injustice, war and poverty.

Teachers and Parents partnership in Education for Life and Peace activity is an important feature of Abakadang Kayumanggi Learning Center program of AKCDF. It aims to develop the culture of love, peace and respect for life and nature in the children' s formative years. ABAKADA teachers and parents work together in teaching children to become good servants of God, people and communities for world peace.

Abakadang Kayumanggi Learning Center, the DepEd Recognized Preschool and ECCD program of Abakadang Kayumanggi Community Development Foundation for children of low income workers, poor families and other children living in Bo. Potrero, Bagong Barrio and Morning Breeze of the cities of Malabon and Caloocan City opened its regular classes for SY 2023-2024 in August 29 2023.
