This CVMAS week gather all your friends and blockmates to form teams of four (4) to compete in a blood-bending💉 display of competence at the Performing Arts Hall on July 9, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, with a total of 20 groups participating.

“Kalayaan o kamatayan? Mga kapatid! Ang Kalayaan ay kinukuha sa dulo ng patalim!", Bonifacio exclaimed to the Katipuneros, As we celebrate this Independence Day may we remember these words by Andres Bonifacio.

Andres Bonifacio was often called the Father of Katipunan, Father of the Philippine Revolution, and The Great Plebeian. As the leader of the K*K he spearheaded the revolution against the Spanish colonizers. Widely known as "Monumento" the Bonifacio Monument was built in Caloocan in his honor for his sacrifice in the revolution against the spanish colonizers, which was designed and completed in 1933 by Guillermo Estrella Tolentino which was awarded as the National Artist for the Visual Arts (Sculpture) in 1973.

The Spaniards ruled over the Philippines for 333 years, until independence was declared by General Emilio Aguinaldo on July 12, 1898 in the province of Kawit, Cavite, and was declared as the first president under the Malolos Constitution.
As we celebrate this day of independence may we commemorate the sacrifices that our ancestors made for the freedom that we cherish today.

The DLSAU VetSoc went back in time 🕰️ as they wandered around the University of the Philippines Los Baños, tracing back the history of the Veterinary Medical Students' Society. But that's not all! We walked along the Freedom park 🏕️, caught a glimpse of the Fertility tree 🌳 , and we even took pictures with the UPLB Oblation! Hopefully the sayings about getting delayed are not applicable to Lasallians 🤭. And of course, we made sure to go back to our roots and visit the UPVS tambayan!
