CSR Medal of Recognition Philippines from the The League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) π Deadline of submission until May 20, 2024.
The League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) invites all non LCF member [for profit] companies/enterprises [or corporate foundations] to submit entries to its inaugural CSR Medal of Recognition.
LCF was established in 1991 to promote Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practice in the Philippines. CSR is a corporation's continuing commitment to perform as a responsible member of society by behaving ethically and contributing to economic development while improving the quality of life of its workforce, the community, and the environment. Simply put, CSR is good corporate citizenship.
LCF has been a champion in building a network of corporations, their corporate foundations, and business organizations. It has worked to steer their initiatives to better contribute to national economic and development goals. This paved the way for the establishment of CSR Week in the Philippines, which is celebrated on the first week of July by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 299, s. 2000. LCF is thus mandated to lead the celebration of CSR Week through initiatives such as the Medal of Recognition.
Through this initiative, LCF seeks to recognize and promulgate OUTREACH and COMMUNITY PROJECTS and ACTIVITIES [or programs] that do good and make a positive change in the community undertaken by duly registered for-profit companies and enterprises in their respective local areas. The Medal will honor exemplary initiatives of non-LCF member organizations, across seven thematic areas: Arts & Culture, Disaster Resilience, Education, Environment, Enterprise Development, Financial Inclusion, and Health.
The top three applicants will be notified and invited to the awarding ceremony on July 5 at the Glorietta Activity Center, Makati City. They will also be invited to attend the 2024 CSR Conference and Expo, which will take place from July 3-4, 2024 at the Mayuree Ballroom of the Dusit Hotel Manila, Makati City. This is the culmination of LCF's celebration of CSR Week, where representatives of corporate and private foundations, the private sector, non-government organizations, civil society, the academe, and government agencies get to network, learn, and collaborate.
Medal of Recognition winners will be included in LCF press releases and featured on LCF's social media platforms, as part of LCF's CSR Week communication initiatives.
Complete entries consisting of the duly accomplished and signed Official Entry Form (attached), executive summary, summary, supporting materials and overall project summary, annexes and attachments must be submitted to [email protected] by no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2024.
Please refer to the Medal of Recognition microsite, which has the complete set of guidelines, for more details, or email [email protected] or send a Viber message to 0917-703-6008 for queries.
