We are pleased to inform all students, that the following resolutions have been officially approved and the fines will take effect starting next week:

Classroom Officers Election: already Done
The election of classroom officers will take place on August 20-22, 2024. All students are encouraged to participate actively in selecting their leaders, who will represent and lead their respective classes throughout the school year.

Department/Program Officers Election:
The election of department and program officers will be held immediately after the classroom officers' election on August 27-30, 2024. These officers will take on leadership roles in their departments and work closely with administration and faculty.

Use of Attendance Cards:
Effective next week, attendance cards will be distributed and utilized to monitor student attendance in both academic and extracurricular activities. Students are required to present their attendance cards regularly to track punctuality and participation.

Implementation of Fines:
To promote accountability, fines for unexcused absences and tardiness will be enforced starting next week.

Please be guided accordingly and prepare for the upcoming department election and the implementation of the attendance system and fines. Let’s work together to make this school year a productive and successful one!

SNSU-MC University Student Council Oath Taking and Turnover Ceremony

On June 4, 2024, the University proudly hosted the annual Student Council Oath Taking and Turnover Ceremony, marking a significant transition of leadership. The event commenced with the Invocation, National Anthem and SNSU Hymn, setting a solemn and respectful tone. Outgoing council members were honored for their dedication and achievements over the past year, highlighting their contributions to enhancing campus life and advocating for student rights.

The ceremony proceeded with the formal oath-taking of the newly elected Student Council members, who pledged to uphold the values and mission of the University, represent the student body with integrity, and foster a spirit of collaboration and innovation. The newly elected USC-EB President were inspired by encouraging speeches from university administrators, and witness of the ceremony, emphasizing the importance of leadership, responsibility, and community service.

The symbolic turnover of responsibilities was marked by the passing of the Key of Responsibility, Torch of Learning, String of Love, Bond of Camaraderie and Candle of Hope from the outgoing USC Officers to the incoming USC officers, symbolizing continuity and the shared vision for the future. The event concluded with a reception where Newly Elected EB Officers, Outgoing EB Officers, Adviser, SAO Designated, Witness of the Ceremony, and Campus Director celebrated the beginning of a new chapter for the Student Council, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.

This memorable ceremony underscores the importance of student leadership in shaping the university experience and preparing the next generation of leaders for future challenges and opportunities.
