Ang New Manila International Airport (NMIA) o Bulacan Aerotropolis ay ang 2,500 hektaryang paliparan na proyekto ng San Miguel Corporation (SMC). Ayon sa SMC, benepisyal ang pagtataguyod nito dahil makapagbibigay umano ito ng mga trabaho para sa mga Bulakenyo at mapapaunlad aniya nito ang turismo ng lalawigan at ng bansa.

Sa kabila ng mga benepisyo nito ay marami pa rin ang 'di sang-ayon dahil sa malubhang epekto nito.

Ang pasko ay isang tradisyon ng paalala at para sa kasiyahan ng mga bata, ito ay ayon sa 68 anyos na si Emily, isang mananahi mula sa Plaridel, Bulacan. Bilang ina ng lima, at lola ng siyam, kaligayahan niya ang makibahagi sa kanilang mga ngiti sa tuwing sasapit ang pasko, lalo na ng kaniyang mga apo.

“Iyang pasko, mas [para] sa bata naman iyan eh. Mas kasiyahan nila iyan. Kaya ‘pag pasko, paalala na rin yun na magsaya muna ang mga matatanda”, saad ni Emily.

Tuwing bisperas, pinaghahandaan na ng kanilang pamilya ang paggayak para sa pagsimba at pamamasyal para makapagsama-sama upang gunitain ang kaarawan ni Kristo.

“Ang hiling ko lang naman ay maging okay ang aking mga anak at aking mga apo, okay na rin ako”, ani Emily.

Ms. Ma. Adora Tigno led the discussion of "Challenges in Sports: How to Handle Them" that served as student-athletes guide in handling adversities.

The BulSU Varsity Teams are set to participate in the upcoming SCUAA III Olympics on February 2024.
