Isa sa highlights ng Sunday school year sa Christ the Rock ay ang Christmas Bazaar. Ito ung time kung saan lahat ng grades ng Sunday school students na naipon nila for a semester eh naico-convert into currency (Rock Money) tapos pwede nila ipang-shopping sa Christmas Bazaar. Yung mga bazaar items naman ay galing sa mga kapatiran na nag-share ng blessings nila para sa sa mga bata.

It's been a tradition sa church ever since. I was in 4th year HS (circa 2003) when we first had our Christmas Bazaar and it was lit and a hit especially sa mga kids! Amazed na amazed kami na ung play money namin eh nakakabili ng mga damit, bag, pagkain, candies, laruan, etc. And then 2 decades later, kami naman ang nagbebenta sa bazaar and the Lord is still faithful sa aming munting iglesya, di Sya nagkukulang. We thank and praise God for all the wonderful things He has done, and will do in our lives.

The last Christmas Bazaar we've had was around 5 or 6 years ago so we have new batch of Sunday school students na first time makakaranas mag-bazaar. They were only given 3 minutes per batch to buy stuff with their Rock Money. May toys section, accessories, teens and kids' clothes, and sweets. At the start, nakatayo lang sila, di nila malaman kung anong unang bibilihin nila, kung toys, or sweets ba. And then there were moms na dating nagba-bazaar, ngayon, yung mga anak naman na nila. Hay grabe ang pagpapapala at kabutihan ng Panginoong Hesus!

At this point, we'd also like to thank lahat ng kapatiran, kapamilya at kaibigan na mga nag-share ng kanilang blessings. Our food was superb kanina, we had Yumburger and J.Co Donuts, Zesto. May the Lord Jesus bless you abundantly. Nakakatuwa na umuwi silang puno ang shopping bags at busog. Nawa isang maging magandang alaala ito sa kanila in the future and we're also hoping na one day, sila naman magpapatuloy ng pag-share ng blessings sa ibang bata.

Last Sunday, ang finale na lesson namin sa Sunday school ay "What makes Christmas merry?" The only answer, Jesus Christ. When He was born, the angels told the shepherds: " I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. Luke 2:10-11)" We celebrate Christmas with joy, thanksgiving and gift-giving knowing God's greatest expression of love is through His Son Jesus Christ.

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! (2 Corinthians 9:15)

Happy 19th Anniversary! Praise God for His faithfulness all throughout those decades of the church. From our beginnings having Sunday school and worship services in Seatmate's garage, SCR's lobby and Tita Annie's garden to being in NDFES and the later on back to Seatmate, to renting and going back to ARS, God has sustained us and kept us going. Still many years to come so we shall remain and move forth -- remain in God's love and presence and move forth to carry on with sharing the gospel in and out of season.

Weekend's here and chill lang ang ang day 6 countdown natin ngaun: share your most memorable worship service song be it a classic hymn or contemporary worship music and why it stirred your soul into worshipping God more and more. Over the years, madaming iteration ang music team ng Christ the Rock. Naka-overhead projector tayo dati with acetate and all. Naaalala ko si Kuya Arman na dati nating worship leader, ung madaming backup singers, hanggang dumating sila Kuya James at Kuya Zhy. May time na casette tapes pa ang worship songsi. Haha. Nagbago man ang mga mang-aawit at manunugtog, hindi naman magbabago ang iisang Diyos na karapat-dapat na awitan ng mga papuri at pagsamba.

It's weekend! This time, let's talk about summer youth camps!

Taas kamay ng mga nag-summer job sa SCR para sa camp fee! Sino ang walang talo na team sa camp? Sino ang wala pang panalo? Haha. Isa sa mga pinaka exciting na event ng summer ay ang youth camp. Nakapag-camp na tau sa Real, sa Lipa, Lemery, Dinalupihan, Los Baños, at sa Iba. For sure napakadaming di malilimutang kuwento. Naaalala pa ba ninyo sino una ninyong counselors? Anong team ninyo? Alam pa ba ninyo win-loss record ninyo? Ano ang pinaka memorable na camp para sayo?

Wednesday is Midweek Service and Prayer Meeting day. I will always remember Pastor Cip's devotion towards teaching the Word of God na kahit umabot na sa halos hindi na nakakakita ang isa nyang mata ay patuloy pa rin sya sa pagluwas mula Muntinlupa para magturo ng Salita ng Diyos, kesyo isa lang o madami ang dumalo. Maraming mga tanong ang sinagot ni Pastor nang naaayon sa Biblia. Kayo, ano ang kuwentong midweek ninyo? Ano ang "ahhh" moment ninyo sa Midweek?
