The College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Association (CASAA), an umbrella organization under the RTU Grand Alumni Association (RTUGAAI), has awarded P15,000.00 in financial support to the RTU Psychology Department for its annual "Coaching Program for RTU Psychometrician Licensure Exam Takers 2024." The Rizal Technological University (RTU) Psychology Department held its annual "Coaching Program for RTU Psychometrician Licensure Exam Takers 2024" from July 29-31, 2024, at the RTU Plenary Hall. This project is fully supported by the RTU Grand Alumni Association Inc. (RTUGAAI).

Mr. Jayson Q. Montallana, RTUGAAI Corporate Secretary, represented the Association during the Opening Ceremony last July 29, 2024. He emphasized the importance of being an RTUGAAI member and paying the P500.00 membership fee, which provides the financial assistance given by the Association to the RTU Psychology Department for this purpose.

1st RTU High School Alumni Association Basketball Tournament (2024)

July 20, 2024, Mandaluyong – The inaugural RTU High School Alumni Association (HSAA) Basketball Tournament kicked off with a grand opening ceremony today, held at the 7th Floor Wellness Building of Rizal Technological University (RTU). The event was graced by the presence of Atty. Abdol Bryan L. Barte, President of the RTU General Alumni Association, Inc. (RTUGAAI) and RTU Alumni Regent.

The tournament marks a significant milestone in fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among RTU high school alumni. Atty. Barte, in his opening remarks, emphasized the importance of such events in strengthening the bonds within the RTU community. "This tournament is not just a display of athletic prowess but also a celebration of our shared heritage and the enduring spirit of the RTU alumni and I congratulate the HSAA Officers headed by your President, Sir Reynaldo M. Rosas for coming up with such an important activity,” he stated.

The opening ceremonies were attended by various alumni-players and HSAA Officers all eager to witness the thrilling basketball matches that will unfold over the coming weeks. The tournament promises to be an exciting showcase of talent and teamwork, bringing together former classmates and friends in the spirit of healthy competition.

Atty. Barte's participation underscores his commitment to the RTU alumni community and his support for initiatives that promote unity and engagement among its members. The RTU HSAA Basketball Tournament is set to become an annual tradition, fostering a sense of pride and belonging among RTU graduates.

The RTU community looks forward to a successful and memorable tournament, embodying the values of sportsmanship, friendship, and excellence that RTU has always championed.
