Once again, after a very long time, girl leaders have collided – girls who showed the true essence of leadership. 💚

With the same hearts but different perspectives, Mandaluyong Council has regained the spirit of the Girl Scouting movement by participating in the first-ever Regional Gathering of Girl Leaders. This gathering proves that leadership knows no gender. ✊🏻💅

A heartfelt congratulations to Cdt. GS Roberta Deanne B. Martin of Jose Rizal University for her remarkable achievements at the 1st Regional Gathering of Girl Leaders in Central Luzon! She was elected as the Alternative Girl Representative. Additionally, congratulations to Cdt. GS Ma. Beatrix D. Lareza of San Beda University, who was elected as the Chairperson of the Senior & Cadet Planning Board, and to Cdt. GS Mary Aline Quirante of Mandaluyong Science High School, who was elected as the Auditor of the Junior Journalist Guild. They embody the spirit of Engage. Empower. Enact. Are you ready to step up your game?

Try this activity and step up for a work of masterpiece by uplcycling trash! You'll not only be creating useful and wonderful arts, but you'll also be part of helping our environment! To proceed, kindly check the mechanics below.

1. This activity is open to all Twinklers, Star, Junior, Senior, and Cadet Girl Scouts.

2. Upcycle trash/old items that can be found inside the house and make them into art pieces. (eg. Flower pots, bags, etc.)

3. Take a video of yourself while doing the art piece until it is already finished. The video should not exceed 1 minute and 30 seconds.

4. Post the video on your Facebook Wall with a caption stating the item you created and the materials used to create it.

5. Include the following hashtags in your caption
