1973 - First appearance of Blade in The Tomb of Dracula #10.

Blade, the iconic vampire hunter of Marvel Comics, made his debut in "The Tomb of Dracula" #10 in July 1973. Created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist Gene Colan, Blade burst onto the pages as a unique and compelling character. Born Eric Brooks, Blade is a dhampir, the offspring of a human mother and a vampire father. This unique heritage grants him the strengths of vampires, such as enhanced senses and physical abilities, while allowing him to resist their traditional weaknesses, like sunlight and garlic.

From his first appearance, Blade established himself as a formidable and mysterious figure within the Marvel Universe. With a deep-seated hatred for vampires due to his tragic origins—he witnessed his mother being attacked by a vampire during childbirth—Blade dedicated his life to hunting down and eliminating the undead scourge. Armed with an array of weapons and martial arts prowess, he became known as the "Daywalker," a moniker reflecting his ability to walk in sunlight, unlike full-blooded vampires.

Over the years, Blade has evolved into one of Marvel's most beloved and enduring characters. He has starred in numerous solo comic book series, exploring his complex backstory and ongoing battles against the forces of darkness. Beyond comics, Blade has appeared in various forms of media, including animated series, video games, and a highly successful film franchise starring Wesley Snipes. "Oh, I'm not gonna fire ya, I'm just gonna hurt you really, really, bad"

Have you seen the Bill Skarsgard as the new Crow? Yup, it's THAT Skarsgard("Pennywise 2017"), what are your thoughts on this? or is does it give you the Robin dressing up as Jared Leto Joker from Teen Titans Go! vibe?

Cheers to hoping that the new The Crow film will capture the bloody, guns-blazing, revenge-seeking film and try and make it even better.

For those to younger to know what The Crow is, It's a 1994 R-rated(good ol 90's!) American fantasy action film directed by Alex Proyas. The film is based on James O'Barr's 1989 comic book of the same name. It follows the story of Eric Draven, played by Brandon Lee(son of the late great Bruce Lee), a rock musician who is brutally murdered, along with his fiancée, on the eve of their wedding. Draven is resurrected by a mysterious crow one year later seeking for his revenge.

P.S. this post is not meant to bash Jared Letto Joker, nor Robin from Teen Titans Go!

Spoiler Alert!

You heard the news that Deadpool and Rogue(X-men) took healing factor to a whole new level? well apparently, In Uncanny Avengers #5, even a nuke can't stop our lovable anti-hero.

https://screenrant.com/rogue-deadpool-combined-powers-marvel-ultimate-healing-factor/?fbclid=IwAR28JLOPg-Bs9Wbyay2ipvKLbWa7CNM8bDA5jla-vti7sdg6KFwerRF4KIs

For context: Deadpool's healing factor is a central aspect of his character. Instead of listing, let's delve into it more dynamically:

Deadpool's regenerative powers stem from genetic experimentation he underwent in the Weapon X program. This healing factor is unparalleled, enabling him to recover rapidly from injuries. The regenerative process works at a cellular level, rejuvenating damaged tissues with remarkable speed.

One unique facet is Deadpool's resilience to fatal wounds. He can endure injuries that would be lethal to an ordinary person. This includes surviving gunshots, stabbings, and even decapitation. In some instances, he can reattach severed body parts, showcasing the extreme extent of his regenerative abilities.

Beyond physical injuries, Deadpool's healing factor extends to his mental state. While not impervious, it provides some protection against telepathic attacks or manipulation. This mental resilience complements his overall survivability in intense situations.

His immune system is incredibly robust, rendering him highly resistant to diseases and toxins. This contributes to his enhanced durability, allowing him to withstand harsh environments and hazardous substances.

Additionally, Deadpool's healing factor slows down the aging process. While he isn't truly immortal, he appears much younger than his actual age, showcasing another dimension to the longevity granted by his regenerative abilities.

In essence, Deadpool's healing factor is a multifaceted power that goes beyond mere physical recovery, influencing his mental state, longevity, and resistance to various threats. It defines him as a nearly indestructible and enduring character in the Marvel Universe.
