Last April 5, 2023, the GTJ Theater Production premiered their new masterpiece, "JC Avenue" in Barangay Addition Hills Mandaluyong City. The play aimed to share the story of the first day of JC Avenue, a journey that would change the course of history forever.

The play started with a powerful and gripping narrative of Lucifero's conquest to rule the world, including the Bayan ng Izra. However, there was a chosen one, Eloi, who would ultimately save humanity from the darkness that had taken over. Lucifero sent Eloi to find and kill the last man who believed in Jesus and destroy the last copy of the Bible.

But as Eloi entered the pages of the holy book, he discovered the truth. He witnessed the birth of Jesus, the visit of the shepherds and the Three Kings, and the massacre of the infants ordered by King Herod. He also met John the Baptist, who was later beheaded. With each page he turned, Eloi learned more about the happenings in the Bible and gradually awakened to the truth.

"JC Avenue" is a must-see production that provides an immersive experience into the world of the Bible. The story is both engaging and thought-provoking, leaving the audience with a deep appreciation for the events that took place during the first day of JC Avenue.

The GTJ Theater Production is another good example of how theater can be used to educate, entertain, and inspire. It's a reminder that even in today's fast-paced world, the timeless stories of the Bible continue to captivate and influence our lives. Kudos to the cast and crew for their exceptional performance and for bringing this remarkable story to life.

The performance was nothing short of spectacular, with breathtaking choreography and exceptional acting. It was a true masterpiece that transported the audience to ancient Jerusalem, where they witnessed pivotal moments in Jesus Christ's life.

The Teatro Mandaleรฑo has done it again! On April 4, 2023, the theater group presented Day Two of Senakulo in Mandaluyong City, a stunning retelling of the story of Jesus Christ's life and the events that led to his crucifixion.

Day Two of Senakulo featured four important events that shaped the course of history. Jesus Christ healed Judas Iscariot, who was deeply remorseful for betraying him. This moment was a testament to the power of forgiveness and compassion, even in the face of the most egregious offenses. Herod the Great, king of Judea, ordered the ex*****on of male babies, including his own son's head. It was a brutal display of power that showed the depths of Herod the Great cruelty and indifference to human life. Mary Magdalene, a former pr******te, begged for forgiveness from Jesus Christ for her past sins. This moment was a powerful reminder that no one is beyond redemption and that we all have the capacity for transformation and growth. Day Two of Senakulo ended with the death of Joseph, the husband of Mary and the earthly father of Jesus.

This event marked the passing of an era and the beginning of a new chapter in Jesus Christ's life. Day Two of Senakulo was a triumph of creativity and imagination, a celebration of the enduring power of faith, love, and forgiveness. The Teatro Mandaleรฑo deserves our applause and admiration for bringing this timeless story to life in such a powerful and moving way.

Penance is a religious practice commonly observed by devout Catholics during the Holy Week, particularly on Maundy Thursday. It is a form of repentance and atonement for one's sins, which involves self-discipline and reflection. This tradition has been a part of the Catholic Church's liturgy since ancient times and continues to be observed by millions of devotees worldwide.

On April 6, devotees in Mandaluyong City join the rest of the Catholic community in observing Penance. It is a time of solemn reflection and prayer, as they recall the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. The practice of Penance is seen as a way to prepare oneself for the upcoming celebration of Easter Sunday, the most significant event in the Christian calendar.

The act of Penance is rooted in the belief that sin separates us from God and damages our relationship with Him. Through penance, we acknowledge our faults, seek forgiveness, and vow to live a more virtuous life. It is a humbling experience that reminds us of our humanity and our need for God's mercy and grace. The observance of Penance on Maundy Thursday is a solemn and meaningful tradition that strengthens the faith of the devotees and brings them closer to God.

On April 3, 2023, Teatro Mandaleรฑo kicked off the first day of Senakulo, a traditional theatrical performance in the Mandaluyong City, held at the Plaza ng Barangka Ibaba. This annual event aims to provide a vivid and emotional portrayal of biblical stories, particularly those surrounding the life of Jesus Christ, in order to inspire and educate the audience on the teachings and values of Christianity.

During the performance, the story of Adam and Eve was depicted as the first humans created by God who later committed original sin by eating the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. This portrayal of the biblical story is an integral part of Senakulo and aims to provide a visual representation of the fall of humanity and the need for redemption.

The story of Cain and Abel was also featured in the performance, with Cain killing Abel due to jealousy and envy, leading to the first murder in human history. This part of the performance serves as a reminder of the dangers of envy and the importance of brotherly love and compassion, as taught by Christianity.

Furthermore, the Three Kings were also portrayed on day one of Senakulo, representing the wise men who came from the East to visit the infant Jesus in Bethlehem, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh as a symbol of his divinity and kingship. This part of the performance reminds us of the significance of Jesus' birth and the coming together of people from different backgrounds to celebrate his arrival.

Overall, day one of Senakulo provided a powerful and moving portrayal of these biblical stories, highlighting the importance of faith, love, and redemption in the Christian tradition.

In commemoration of the heroism of G*t Josรฉ Rizal on December 11, 2022, at 6 PM in Rizal Park Open Air Auditorium by the efforts of Teatro Rizal and its alumni together with the National Parks Development Committee under the Department of Tourism - Philippines๐Ÿข

"Sino si Rizal beyond the statue or being a national hero of the Philippines? Now we revere him as the one who had the greatest contribution for our liberty, but at the same time kailangan natin tignan na ang kamatayan nya ay very human, because that is every human experiencing and will experience, yung kamatayan." Writer, EJay Villafania said before the start of performance. In addition, this play intended to know who Rizal is, on how Rizal wrote his "huling paalam" in the last hour of his lifeโŒ›

"Althugh nakikita kona sya nung ginagawa namin yung production, nung nagrereherse nakikita kona sya, pero ako bilang direktor, after nung production namin napasabi nalang ako nang "Wow, Amazing!" Director, Armando Leo Mansilungan said after the performance๐ŸŒŸ

Director Masilungan tell his experience on how he work on production "Nung nasa process kami nung rehersal, ako yung naging struggle ko ren bilang direktor ay yung pag on-off-on-ff nang vision ko. Because their production is being "Responsable, Matalino at Masipag" according to Director Masilungan they successfully manage the process of making this play๐Ÿšง

I have to get everything in detail. Also, as an actor, it's my duty to research when I get home and not only work on myself and my acting on stage or when we're rehearsing. I think it's important I find the similarities between myself in my day-to-day life and the character I'm assigned with."

"Hindi ko kayang sabihin sakanila kung paano ako magpapaalam, so isang way ko para makapag paalam sakanila is, this musical, sa mga sinulat kong kanta" Musical Director, John Kenneth Dael said before his break in musical. The idea of music came from Hamilton, and Mula sa Buwan musical and make it intended for the story of "Paano Sabihin Ang Paalam?"

POVERTY DOES NOT CREATE OUR SOCIAL PROBLEMSโ“ OUR SOCIAL PROBLEMS CREATE OUR POVERTYโ— - Marco Rubio

The Teatro Rizal held a play festival entitled "Blue and Gold Curtains 8: Issue This is You! Set E 6.2 Not That High" yesterday, November 26, 2022, at 1 pm in Josรฉ Rizal University Auditorium๐ŸŽญ
