It’s these moments and experiences that make me say: I love ballet. 💖 I can’t fully describe it to you all, but this is just how much I love ballet and the theatre. All I want is for my students to feel the immense joy it can bring. I live, eat, and breathe ballet and performing.

Before I share more, I want to thank you all for supporting the studio. 💖 It wouldn’t be this big without your support. Always remember that with this great privilege comes the responsibility of protecting this space. Nurture your love for ballet and take care of yourself. We’d like to congratulate our adult ballet dancers for competing at the Taiwan Grand Prix in the adult category and senior soft shoes division ❤️ I’m extremely proud of each one of my adults, and there’s more to share too!

Competitions used to be something I disliked, but the more I participate, the more I see growth. While they have their drawbacks, they also encourage growth. It’s essential to discuss them openly, showing that you can join without the pressure of winning. Doing well and growing as a dancer, along with performing well, speaks volumes about a person’s character. Just sharing some insights before I release my shorts and vlogs on the topic.

For now, let’s celebrate all our adult ballet students and those who placed at the Taiwan Grand Prix:
Kristel Van Cool (Adult Ballet soft shoes, 2nd place, no first place winner) and Alexandra Cruz (Senior 2 soft shoes category, 2nd place, no first place winner).

All our dancers did an amazing job, and as ballet is an art, I’d like to recognize their dedication and effort from the months of rehearsals and their performances on stage!

Every dancer knows the pain of a broken ballet shoe/pointe shoe! We’ll try to mend it with anything: jet glue, tape, leukoplast, sewing it!

Though our hearts may break or our shoes may die, our love for dance will always mend our hearts. 💖
