Sa isang dekada ay hindi natigil ang White team sa paglilingkod sa kagustuhang pa-unladin at tulungan ang mga estyudante sa kaniya-kaniya nilang pagpapahalaga sa lahat ng aspeto sa buhay o di kaya ay pananaw, prinsipyo, at paniniwala sa kanilang paligid at sarili. Sa loob ng Isang dekada ay maraming natulungang estyudante ang White team, marami sa mga ito ay isa na sa mga nagtuturo at ipinagpapatuloy ang iniwan na aral sakanila ng White team, ang mga iniwang aral ay palalawakin pa at ibabahagi sa iba pa. Ang iba ay tumindig upang mag silbi din na inspirasyon sa ating kapwa estudyante, karamihan ay nabunsod ang kanilang kumpiyansa at tiwala sa sarili. Tinututukan ng White Team na mapabago ang buhay ng isang tao sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay kaalaman at pagpapakita ng dedikasyon sa kanilang mga gawain, marahil isa kayo sa mga estudyanteng nabago ang paraan ng pag-iisip dahil sa White Team. Isang dekada na at magpapatuloy pa upang marami pang estudyante ang mabigyan namin ng liwanag tungo sa daan na kanilang dapat tahakin.

Ito ay iniusog sa ika-29 ng Marso hanggang ika-4 ng Abril ni Pangulong Ramon Magsaysay noong 1954. Sa sumunod na taon, noong 1955, inilipat ni Pangulong Magsaysay ang selebrasyon sa ika-13 hanggang ika-19 ng Agosto, sa pamamagitan ng Proklamasyon Bilang 186.

Bakit Agosto? Ayon kay Pangulong Magsaysay, ang orihinal na Linggo ng Wika ay nagaganap tuwing bakasyon ng mga estudyante, kaya hindi naisasama ang mga paaralan sa pagdiriwang nito. Samantala, ang huling araw naman ay gugunitain sa kaarawan ni Pangulong Quezon, ang itinuturing na Ama ng Wikang Pambansa.

Noong 1988, pinirmahan ni Pangulong Corazon Aquino ang Proklamasyon Bilang 19, na nagpatibay ng selebrasyon ng Linggo ng Wika sa Agosto 13-19.

Makalipas ang halos isang dekada, noong 1997, sa bisa ng Proklamasyon Bilang 1041, idineklara ni Pangulong Fidel Ramos na ang selebrasyon ng Wikang Filipino ay magaganap na sa buong buwan ng Agosto.

Marahil ang nasa isip niyo ngayon ay ang Filipino ay isang salita para sa Tagalog. Pero, ito’y isang maling pag-unawa ng wikang Filipino.

Ang ating pambansang wika na Filipino ay hindi lamang Tagalog. Ito’y sumasakop sa lahat ng wikang sa ano mang parte ng ating bansa. Pero, ang Tagalog ay ang wikang ginagamit sa maraming parte ng Luzon, ang pinakamalaking rehiyon sa Pilipinas.

Kaya naman, gingagamit ang Filipino bilang wika sa pang-araw-araw na talastasan. Dumaan sa masusing pag-aaral ang Surian ng Wikang Filipino na naglalayong humanap ng wika na mas pabor para sa nakararami. At dahil sa pag-aaral na ito, nalaman na mas dominante ang Tagalog.

Nakapaloob rin sa wikang Filipino ang mga banyagang salita na ating nakuha sa mga mananakop natin. Samantala, ang Tagalog ay lokal na wika na ginamit ng mga katutubo sa Luzon.

Bukod rito, ang Filipino ay siya ring tawag sa mga naninirahan sa bansang Pilipinas. Ginawang wikang pambansa ang Filipino upang mas madali ang pakikipag ugnayan sa mga mamamayang sakop ng Pilipinas.

The IBIS-Kagawaran ng Araling Panlipunan is honoring the diversity and cohesion of Southeast Asia through the ASEAN community. This year’s theme is “𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡” in support of Indonesia’s Chairmanship, which “𝘢𝘪𝘮𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘈𝘚𝘌𝘈𝘕 𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯”.

Ang 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙞 𝘼𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙪𝙚 na alam natin, bilang pangunahing kalsada sa Lungsod ng Mandaluyong ay, ipinangalan sa dating alkalde ng noo'y Munisipalidad ng Mandaluyong na si 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙤 𝙅𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙧.
Ang 𝗶𝗸𝗮-𝟭𝟲 𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗸𝗮-𝟭𝟴 alkalde ng Mandaluyong.

Si 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙤 𝙅𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙧 ay ipinanganak sa Mandaluyong noong 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘆𝗼 𝟱,𝟭𝟴𝟵𝟰.
Siya ay nakapagtapos bilang Surveyor sa 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 (𝗣𝗦𝗔𝗧) na ngayon ay ang 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 (𝗧𝗨𝗣) noong 1917.
Kalaunan ay nagtrabaho siya sa Manila City Hall 𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝟭𝟵𝟭𝟵 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝟭𝟵𝟰𝟭.

Noong Panahon ng ikalawang digmaang pandaigdig ay itinatag niya ang 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 upang labanan ang mga hapon. Subalit siya ay nadakip at ikinulong 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝟭𝟵𝟰𝟯 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝟭𝟵𝟰𝟱.

𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝟭𝟵𝟰𝟲 ay itinalaga siya ng Dating Pangulong 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙚𝙡 𝙍𝙤𝙭𝙖𝙨 bilang punongbayan ng Mandaluyong (𝟭𝟵𝟰𝟲-𝟭𝟵𝟱𝟱)
(𝟭𝟵𝟲𝟬-𝟭𝟵𝟲𝟮).
Sa kanyang panunungkulan ay umunlad ang Mandaluyong dahil sa pagusbong rito ng pabrika at iba't ibang industriya sa paligid ng Highway 54 (EDSA).
Si 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙤 𝙅𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙧 ay pumanaw habang nanunungkulan bilang punongbayan 𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝟭𝟵,𝟭𝟵𝟲𝟮 𝘀𝗮 𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝗻𝗮 𝟲𝟳, siya ang ikalawang alkalde ng Mandaluyong na pumanaw habang nanunungkulan.
Kasalukuyang nasa 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗿𝗶 𝗖𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 ang kanyang mga labi.

-"𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗞𝗔" o lugar kung saan nakahinto ang mga bangka sa ilog Pasig
-Matarik na kabundukan.
-At sa kwento kung saan ang isang babae ay may Ina na nagngangalan na Barang, Ang babae ay inatake ng isang lalaki at upang humingi ng saklolo sa kanyang Ina sinigaw nang sinigaw ng babae ang "𝗞𝗔 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚" 𝗞𝗔 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚!, at narinig ng mga kastila sa lugar ang sigaw, at tinawag ang lugar na Barangka.

Ang Barangka ay isang malaking Baryo o Barangay noon at nahati ito sa apat noong 𝗱𝗲𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝟱𝟬, sa panunungkulan ng noo'y Municipal Mayor na si 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙤 𝙅𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙧.

𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟕, 𝟏𝟖𝟗𝟐, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜; 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝

𝗢𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟳, 𝟭𝟴𝟵𝟮, Governor-General 𝙀𝙪𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙤 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙪𝙟𝙤𝙡 made public the order of the deportation of 𝘿𝙧. 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙍𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙡 to Dapitan, through a decree published in the Gaceta, to a remote town in Zamboanga.

Rizal lived in exile in far-away Dapitan from 𝟭𝟴𝟵𝟮 to 𝟭𝟴𝟵𝟲. Under the missionary jurisdiction of the Jesuits, he practiced medicine, pursued scientific studies, continued his artistic and literary works, widened his knowledge of languages, established a school for boys, promoted community development projects, invented a wooden machine for making bricks, and engaged in farming and commerce.

Meanwhile, on this day, in Tondo, Manila, a group of Filipino patriots, led by 𝘼𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙤, 𝙏𝙚𝙤𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙤 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙖, 𝙇𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙤 𝘿𝙞𝙬𝙖, and 𝘿𝙚𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙤 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙤, among others, formally founded the 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻 (𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙨-𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜, 𝙆𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜-𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙥𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙜á 𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙠 𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣), an anti-Spanish society with the goal of gaining Philippine independence.

The Katipunan, initially a secret organzation, had three principal aims: political, moral and civic. The political aim was to fight for the independence of the Philippines from Spain. The moral aim was to teach Filipinos right conduct, cleanliness, and to fight against blind obedience to religion and to overcome weakness of character. The civic aim was to help one's self and to defend the poor and the oppressed.

During the next four years, the organization recruited members from various parts of Manila and nearby provinces. Its discovery in 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟴𝟵𝟲 eventually led to the outbreak of the Philippine Revolution.

Ang pinakamaikli naman ay inihayang ni 𝘿𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙡-𝘼𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙮𝙤 noong 𝗛𝘂𝗹𝘆𝗼 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟱 sa Batasang Pambansa sa Lungsod ng Quezon, na may haba lamang na 𝟭,𝟱𝟱𝟲 na salita.
