RTU Golden Anniversary Logo Making Contest
CRITERIA AND MECHANICS FOR THE LOGO MAKING CONTEST:
1. This contest is open to the RTU community (students, alumni and faculty) excluding RTU GAAI officers and alumni college councils.
2. Only one (1) entry per participant is allowed.
3. The theme for the logo will be “RTU@50”.
4. Design must be clear and should work well at any size, whether printed on postcards, brochures, flyers, or billboards and web applications. (Minimum of 300 DPI)
5. Participants should not place their signature nor put any sign showing their ownership of the logo.
6. No rasterized image should be used. An entry identified to have similar format or image used from other sources will be automatically disqualified.
7. The logo must consider its appropriateness as a symbol of achievement of the university as an academic institution.
8. The logo making competition shall be judged according to the following criteria:
a. 35% Aesthetic Quality – should command attention, display visual balance and color coordination.
b. 30% Originality- should be creative, innovative and original work of participant.
c. 25% Relevance – should be relevant to the theme.
d. 10% Audience Impact – voting will be based on the number of likes in social media.
9. The logo must be computer-generated or in digital format. A soft copy of the design should be sent in two format (1) editable (Photoshop file or the illustrator file) containing the raw file/vector image and (2) non-editable picture format (ex. JPEG or PNG format), and (3) one-page/paragraph description of the design.
10. Entries can be submitted in zip file (Firstname_Lastname. zip ex. Juan_delacruz. zip) containing files mentioned in no. 9 at RTU GAAI office MAB 2005 (via USB or CD) or via e-mail: [email protected] or [email protected] with the subject RTU@50 Firstname_lastname.
11. Submission of entries is from September 11 to September 22, 2017 only. All entries will be posted in RTU GAAI official page on September 25, 2017 (to get the 10% - audience impact). Voting will run until September 30, 2017.
12. Announcement of winner will be posted in RTU GAAI Official page on October 6, 2017.
13. The sole winner for this contest will receive an amount of PHP 10,000.00 from RTU GAAI.
14. The winning entry will be used as the official logo in the celebration of the 50th years of RTU on October 2019.
