This pandemic made me realise that all we live is the NOW!

So I am letting my kids to be happy, because that is the purpose of our life. I don’t want to live with regrets because I did not take the chance.

Now I am taking my chance to let my kids see the world and one step to that is to get vaccinated.

I recently received this PDF file shared in our viber groups from my kids school. Here are some of the excerpt I screenshot to share here (swipe).

In summary:
1. When positive-Inform your paediatrician and your attending physician 👩🏻‍⚕️.

2. Continue to breastfeed. Your colostrum is your babies 1st source of immune booster.

3. Breastmilk makes wonders— Your body and your milk will produce anti-bodies to protect your baby. It may not be 100 percent full proof but your baby has a higher chance of protection because of the anti-bodies passed on thru your milk.

4. Wear double mask, wash hands and continue to breastfeed 🤱🏻.

5. If you choose to pump, use your own pump and DO NOT SHARE WITH OTHERS. Wash hand with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before touching any pump parts. Wear mask while pumping.

6. Give express milk to baby at once. Caregiver who will give milk to your baby must be vaccinated, healthy and must follow the health protocol —wear mask and wash hands.

It was a much needed vacation for the kids, for me and .

It was one that we did not expect that will push through —We booked months back but was on wait list. 2 weeks before, we got a notification that our booking is a go!

We told our kids and they made sure that they finished all their responsibilities for school and with so much excitement the kids was looking forward to see the beach. Enjoy the sand and the freedom to run around.

Packed our bags, our essentials, arrange everything for our family and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Inhaled all the fresh air by the beach, played by the sand, collect shells and of course took as much photos I can to keep as a memory of once neglected vacation now most cherished one.

Surprised my kids after their chores today.

My kids are trying to make the most out of Halloween! Yes, despite the pandemic and all Halloween celebrations are cancelled; in our house, the tradition continues.
