With faith in the resurrection, the Lasallian East Asia District (LEAD) announces the passing of Dr. Estrella S. Castañeda AFSC on 28 June 2024. She was 84 years old and an Affiliate of the De La Salle Brothers for 37 years.

Eternal rest grant unto Estrella, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon her.
And may the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

On the 24 June 1680 St John Baptist de La Salle invited his teachers for meals. They had been living in rented accommodation for six months.

On June 16, 1911, the first Lasallian school in the Philippines was opened in Paco, Manila.

Since then, De La Salle University has continued to pursue the educational mission of St. John Baptist de La Salle of teaching minds, touching hearts, and transforming lives.

Santuario de La Salle has been chosen as the 2024 Popular Choice Architizer A+ Award winner in the Religious Buildings and Memorials category.

This recognition comes after the Santuario de La Salle was shortlisted among five outstanding projects worldwide back in April 18th, 2024.

Twenty-three thousand, six hundred and twenty-two (23,622) residents of Brgy. Masulog, P**a, Linuthangan, Malaiba, and Lumapao were affected by the Mt. Canlaon volcanic eruption yesterday, June 3. There are also affected families and communities in the Negros Occidental side. That being said, your small act of kindness will surely help. Together, let us help ease their condition by contributing to our donation drive.
