Lunasin can boost immune system

The first line of defense against viral infection is the body’s innate immune system and its ability to mobilize natural killer cells (NK cells - a type of white blood cell) to eliminate virus-infected cells.

NK cells provide a rapid response to virus-infected cells (acting at around 3 days after infection) by producing interferon gamma (IFN-gamma), a regulatory cytokine that is critical for innate immunity, as well as adaptive immunity when mobilized by viral vaccines to produce antibodies against the virus.

Our youngest Raphael, just turned 2 when he was diagnosed with asthma. Akala ko simpleng sakit lang, pero umabot ng 40°C ang lagnat ni Bunso sa 2nd day, sumusuka at may lumabas na rashes sa mukha. Pina admit ko na sya sa hospital. Sa initial blood test, ang platelet nya ay 100. The next days, bumaba pa eto ng bumaba. Nang bumagsak sa 20 ang platelet, nag iiyak na ako. Takot ako sa kalagayan ni Bunso.
