Cremation is growing in acceptance these days. After cremation, a Columbarium is maintained to repose ashes in an urn or other suitable container.
Looking for a Columbarium in Manila?
Columbario de Santa Ana, located at The church of Our Lady of the Abandoned Manila,
have seven chambers on the ground floor and four chambers on the second floor. Each with six levels of niches all beautifully laid out. There will be benches and alcoves with indirect lighting to give the Chapel a quiet and timeless appeal. Candle holders will also be provided and strategically placed.
All crypts are sealed with granite with a uniform inscription. In addition, every crypt will have a small metal bracket for flowers.
On every first Friday of the month, Mass is being offered for the eternal repose of the souls of all deceased whose ashes are placed in the Chapel.
A special memorial Mass is offered each year on All Souls Day.
