Dr. Homer Abiad, Dr. Franco Felizarta, and Dr. Linus Santo Tomas were part of the UPCM Class 91 core team who brainstormed and came up with the well-recieved Home Care Algorithm in early April, which addressed patients' needs in the face of overwhelmed medical facilities, PGH included. Even if your signs and symptoms are mild, please monitor yourself daily and keep in touch with your health care provider or Barangay Emergency Health Response team.
If you have mild symptoms but have risk factors for severe COVID ex. Older, diabetes, hypertension, overweight, weak immune system due to other illnesses, you actually have Moderate COVID and need to be monitored more closely.
