The Arts and Languages Cluster of the College of Graduate Studies and Teacher Education Research (CGSTER), spearheaded by the Graduate Teacher Education Faculty (GTEF) and the PNU Applied Linguistics and English Language Education Society (PAL ELES), successfully conducted the recent extension activity at Banoyo Integrated National High School, San Luis, Batangas, on November 30, 2023, themed “Teaching Reading in the 21st Century across Content Areas.”

The activity witnessed engaging discussions that delved into innovative teaching methodologies and approaches for effective reading instruction across various content areas. The resource speakers shared their expertise, providing valuable insights that will undoubtedly impact the teaching practices of secondary-level teachers.

2nd International Graduate Teacher Education Summit 16/03/2023

The PNU Graduate Student Council (PNU-GSC) will host the 2nd International Graduate Teacher Education Summit this coming August, 2023. The conference will require a registration fee of 1,500 pesos (onsite) and 500 pesos (online) to cover the expenses such as: 1) food for the participants, guests, and officials; 2) tokens and certificates; 3) decorations; 4) janitorial services; and 5) conference materials (book of abstracts, ID, and others). It is also requested that a certain number of slots be provided to graduate students as members of the committee, and all the rest of the PNU graduate students can avail themselves of a 20% discount on the registration fee.

Do you agree that the proceeds of the conference will be donated to selected DepEd schools to help improve the quality of instruction and learning delivery.
