The Department of Neurology of Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center, section of Movement Disorders, conducted its lay forum on Parkinson’s disease entitled “Galaw-galaw para sa Parkinson’s”. Topics like Parkinson’s disease signs and symptoms, treatment, exercises and nutrition were tackled. We would like to extend our gratitude to our consultant staff, residents, and patients themselves for making this event possible.

Ngayong buwan ng Abril ay ipinagdiriwang natin ang Parkinson’s Disease (PD) Awareness Month. Ang lahat po ay malugod na inaanyanyahan ng Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center Department of Neurology, kasama ang Philippine Neurological Association at Movement Disorder Society of the Philippines, sa isang lay forum patungkol sa Parkinson’s disease.

Ito ay magaganap sa darating na ika-25 ng Abril, 2024, Huwebes, 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM sa Behavioral Medicine OPD.

This coming November 5-11, we will be celebrating "National Neurology Week" with the theme, "Brain Health For All, Empowering the Grassroots" through a nationwide lay fora to barangay health workers.

Navarro, for being awarded the Tier 3 (5 Years) Certification for the Acute Stroke Ready Hospital! This was given by the Stroke Society of the Philippines during the 24th SSP Annual Convention.
