One of my top favorite restaurants!! 🔥

Discovered this place in 2014 when my lolo got hospitalized in PGH for a few months. My cousins and I would go here to eat after visiting him bc super lapit lang nito dun. Di ko pa alam nun na samgyup pala tawag sa ganto 😂 This was so small pa back then and ang panget ng ambiance ngl (see last pic) but the food was sooo good so binalik-balikan namin. And ever since then, we’ve been eating here regularly na.

Anyway, this is the best samgyup for me fite me!!! 😤 It’s authentic + the meat is always fresh. Hindi siya unli meat and rice tho which I know is a big factor for most people (but their side dishes are unli naman). Some people also prefer samgyup places that serve lots of side dishes (maki, potatoes, karaage etc.) but I’m personally not a fan 😅 The side dishes here (steamed egg, kimchi, radish kimchi, and Pa Muchim) are enough na for me. Tbh basta may Pa Muchim (3rd pic) masaya na ko. Yun talaga dealbreaker for me hehehe. U can bring me to any samgyup place with 10+ side dishes and I still wouldn’t be happy if walang Pa Muchim. 😝

Our usual order (good for 4):
- 4 rice (P50 each)
- 2 pork galbi
- 1 galmaegisal
- +1 samgyeopsal minsan pag kulang 😂

Our total bill is usually around P1400-1800. Divide that by 4 and the price per person would still be less than the usual price ng mga samgyup na unli (P500 each). Quality > quantity 😬

I highly recommend that you order the ones I mentioned above bc makapal yung meat and price point is good for the serving. Sulit. We usually don’t order woo-samgyeop kasi manipis + mas mahal siya compared sa pork galbi

Will 4ever hype this 😤 If mamamatay na ko bukas eto kakainin ko as my last meal 😝
