Father Manny served St. Peter the Apostle Parish from 1999 to 2009, and later at St. Peter the Apostle School from 2013 to 2017.

Fr. Emil is currently assigned as the school director of St. Peter the Apostle School and a resident of the parish.

On September 29, 1637, San Lorenzo Ruiz, the son of a Chinese father and Tagala mother who lived in the Parian district outside the city walls of Manila professed his faith by martyrdom. He was beatified by Pope John Paul II in Manila and later canonized on October 28, 1987.

San Lorenzo Ruiz holds the distinction of being the first person beatified outside the Vatican. He also holds the honor of being the first Filipino saint, the "most improbable of saints," as Pope John Paul II described him during the canonization ceremony.

Today we had the investiture and renewal of commitment of 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭. 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡, a significant moment in their journey of service to God and His Church. This sacred occasion marks their commitment to supporting the religious community and participating in the liturgical rites. The dedication and devotion of altar servers play a crucial role in enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of our worship services. Through their service, they embody the values of humility, reverence, and service to others. Let us support and pray for these individuals as they take on this important role within the Church, serving as a beacon of faith and inspiration to others.
