Congratulations to our JCGP WAG Athlete, Tallula Antonino-Nadres, for bagging Silver Medals for Vault and Floor Exercise, also to GAP Athletes, Elaiza Yulo for winning Silver in Vault and Gabbie Barameda for placing 9th in IAA at the 19th Singapore Gymnastics Open Championships on May 31 to June 2, 2024! 🌱Special thanks to coach Micah Bernate and coach Michael Sumabal for their knowledge and perseverance in molding such talented gymnasts!

Olympic bound WAG athlete, Levi Ruivivar, continues to inspire our grassroots athletes by donating her competition leotards that she outgrew through the years. Our grassroots experienced excitement and had marked this day as one of their best as they also met the Olympian MAG athlete, Carlos Yulo, who served as one of the icons of Philippine gymnastics.

Our JCGP athletes expressed their utmost gratitude with the painted smiles on their faces. Thank you for being an inspiration for the next generation, Levi and Carlos! 🌱 We will be supporting you on the upcoming Paris Olympics!

Japan Cultural Grassroots Project is a program under Gymnastics Association of the Philippines in cooperation with Japan Embassy-Manila and the Philippine Sports Commission. Our goal is to develop athletes as future representatives of the Philippines to the world. Clubs are allowed to join and train with us! There is no need to represent JCGP as everyone is allowed to train in our facility. We want to contribute not only to Philippine Gymnastics but to other sports disciplines in the Philippines as well.

For the successful JCGP WAG evaluation, all athletes will be treated equal as all others. JCGP selected team will have discount benefits, but can still train with other athletes.

Within a 6-month interval, we will be conducting evaluations for all the interested athletes. Challenge yourselves as much as you want!

Today, we’re taking a closer look at the incredible progress of our JCGP gymnasts as they enjoy doing their stunts, showing their skills, passion, dedication, hard work,and determination to inspire us all.

Thanks to the insightful evaluations from Coach Kugimiya Munehiro, Coach Naomi, and Coach Micah. Their expertise and guidance have enabled our athletes to accomplish their objectives and soar to new heights. We appreciate our parents supporting and motivating their children to follow their passions.

We are also grateful for the assistance of JCGP coaches and staff. We are excited to see great results from this evaluation.

Ending the year with Coach Kugimiya Munehiro and Jumpei Konno's visit has warmed our hearts and brought excitement to the future years of JCGP!

To our coaches, athletes, parents, and staff, may you all receive the greatest blessings for all your hard work and passion. We are proud of what we have accomplished and hope for greater achievements for everyone here in JCGP!

After the merriest holidays and before we enter another year of surprises, Coach Kugimiya Munehiro will be present at the remaining JCGP training sessions of the year!

JCGP training classes will be open on December 28-29, 2023 at the GAP Rizal Training Center. JCGP training sessions will be temporarily on break from December 30-January 2, 2023 and will resume on January 3, 2023.

December 29, 2023 sessions will only be available from 2:50 PM - 8:50 PM only.

Scheduled sessions will be moved accordingly.
