Dr. Carmen Alviar acquired a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1971, a Master of Arts in Religious Education from DLSU-Manila in 1987, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Management from UST-Manila in 1995. She is currently working as a Facilitator, Lecturer, and Consultant in DLSU.

A JOURNEY TO THE PAST 🎞

The Writers' Guild celebrated their 45th anniversary through a publication launch and a benefit concert entitled "Reverie: Tales from the Past" last July 17, 2024, at Room 903 in Br. Andrew Gonzalez Hall.

Not only did the event showcase the works and performances of Writers' Guild members but it also aimed to benefit sponsors such as Little Gaza Kitchen and Asociacion de Damas De Filipinas.

“Just... Who am I?" A figure blankly stared at the grassy field in front of them, unmoving and unblinking even as the wind dried their eyes.

Peeking to the future, Penny gasped. "Oh, no! They were flat, so they're having severe identity crisis!" They exclaimed.

"Flat... earthers?" Inky asked.

"No, silly! Their characters are flat," Penny replied.

Paddy kicked the air and broke the fourth wall. He handed a letter to you and said, "Dear writer, we shall pull your character with us to the past to solve this problem."

With a snap from Paddy, lightning struck your character, turning the surroundings white for a moment. By the time the light receded, your character had appeared before you, and they have gotten younger.
