Designed with advanced soundproofing techniques, these boxes are tailored to match the ideal decibel levels of chosen interior spaces. To evaluate their effectiveness, Ar. Eric Samovar Baño and his students employed a decibel meter inside and outside the boxes. Because in architecture, we strive for more than aesthetic design; we also ensure that noise from our spaces does not disturb the surrounding community. 🌟🔇✨

Throughout the semester, Architecture students from years 2-4 and 3-5 persevered, with their hard work and dedication serving as the tools they used to conquer their challenges. Their culmination came in enthralling architectural masterpieces, each meticulously crafted with a unique story. These exhibits captivated the audience and sparked lively critiques, a valuable learning experience for aspiring architects.

The event was graced by PUP-CADBE Chairperson, Ar. Marie Angeli Bilbao-Velasquez, whose opening remarks challenged the students to see beyond the mere construction of buildings. She emphasized that Architecture is a deeper pursuit, a blend of art and science demanding both creativity and technical expertise. Esteemed Ar. Eric Samovar Bano further fueled the students' passion by reminding them of the exciting international opportunities that awaited them. DAY 5: Closing of Cri+Ex Architectural Forum and Exhibition 2024 1st Semester

The journey of Cri+Ex 2024 first semester has finally come to an end and countless memories, experiences, and knowledge have been conquered. It was a successful avenue to showcase the students' wonderful output and creativity.

Both physical and online exhibits were able to reach an array of audiences which not only promoted the PUP College of Architecture, Design, and the Built Environment but also inspired other students to do better.

The ship has set ashore but do not fret, as it is only the beginning of a bigger adventure.

Another day, another chance to flex the knowledge and skills of the students from PUP CADBE, specifically from BS Architecture 3-4. The students have created handmade scale models that feature various building systems used in construction, including foundations, floor systems, wall systems, and roofing systems, and today is another day we’ll be seeing them! I'm sure you'll be blown away by the level of detail and craftsmanship that's been put into them.

It's exciting to see the hard work and dedication the students have put into creating these models. I'm sure you'll be amazed by the level of detail and craftsmanship that's been put into them. Moreover, it's an excellent opportunity to learn from the models and gain insights into the various building systems used in construction.
